Re: GREECE 2015

Agree! :?

Even C: Real did not avoid it for the first time in their 19 year career!

I wonder if all greek contestants are forced by our broadcaster to include to their songs some greek flavour :?

My personal opinion is that only Thomai's song is well-structured and fresh.
C Real are such a disappointment for me... xfacepalm

1- Shaya 8,5/10 It's catchy!!I think it is the safest choice....
2- Thomai 7,5/10 It's a good song + I love the whole jazz concept!
3- Maria Elena Kiriakou 6/10 Her voice is great, but the song is boring and I don't really like her english..
4- C:Real 4/10 Nothing special
5- Baricce 2/10 NO COMMENTS................

Re: GREECE 2015

We have changed last year, and also in 2009, and also in 2006, and also in 2003 & 2002, but the results were not that good...

Thank you, Greece.

Re: GREECE 2015

I'm worried about Thomai. If you look at the comments on the video, 95% of the positive remarks are in English, and most of the negative remarks are in Greek.

I "THINK" it's because some greeks said in this forum that she's an arrogant b*tch and a posh diva...
I've heard something like that here, but I just don't know.

Re: GREECE 2015

Thomai gives me the impression of trying too hard, even in the interview posted above, she tries so hard to be sweet, she isn't natural at all, maybe that's why some don't like her.

Yes, she looks a little tense, which I don't understand since she should be used to cameras after all the show-hosting she's done.

In this other interview she looks so at ease:

Maybe it's the english language or the Eurovision thing that makes her nervous. Hopefully, it will not affect her performance on the 4th of March.

It is weird that Shaya is half danish and yet has a song that is better than almost all the danish entries in the last decade.

And she has tried to represent Denmark, but never had been at the 10 final entries.

Re: GREECE 2015

The 5 greek songs this year have something special, and although I like almost all of them I'd choose either "Ela" or "Jazz & Syrtaki". Anyway, I think that Greek people have a devotion for diva songs, so probably "Sunshine" will go to Eurovision.

Re: GREECE 2015

I am really impressed with Greece this year. Only 5 songs - but two songs are great. 1 song is really good. And the two last arent bad either.

I didnt like Thomai's last attempt very much. This year I love her song! I normally dont like jazz or jazzy tunes - but I guess it is the greek touch that makes me feel so happy listening to this song!

Another thing I am not normally too fond of either is women singing "grand ballads" in the Eurovision. Sure there are exceptions though - and Maria Elenas song is one of these. Great voice, nice melody, and the lyrics are not overthetop cheesy. I really like this!!!

Re: GREECE 2015

The only one that really worths is Jazz & Syrtaki. If they choose this, we can hope for a decent result at least. The else is just crap
