Sure, but thing with this is that it's very local and local humor, so while Greeks may get this... Europe might think it's more or a gimmick because they don't really know about them.. that's sort of what I meant.

Point taken!

I have the same fear as well, but in the end i think that the whole rythm of the song will make Europeans wanna dance, rather than laugh!

P.S Aggeliki Iliadi for ESC 2014 for A-Lister please!!!!

I don't think people will take this as a joke entry. This type of music is quit popular in :pt:, for example.

Local sounds is one thing, but local humor is more hard to sell though ;)

Aggeliki was my pick this year yes (out of the finalists ones) xcheer

Oh God, u will never see her in ESC, trust me. She handled her public image soooo badly since the day she started singing that the majority of greek people hate her...

People should vote for songs and not for persons then ;)

Well, if I could freely pick a Greek act it wouldn't be her either... I just liked her entry this year the most ;)

Well, fortunately not many share your weird taste dear...

Okay WOW that was bitchy

I'm not saying Romania is better than Greece. They are both stupid songs imo. Btw, I loved Turkey 2004 which was also ska, but this song is so overrated. Had it been from Lithuania or Slovenia no one would've cared...

Mine too, but in the end when i saw how many ballads we have this year i thought picking Koza Mostra was a wise move whatsoever.
The bad thing is that i cannot find her song in good quality :(

Um... hello? U r refering to greek people...

Ok, my ultimate wish for greek entry in ESC is THIS artist with THIS song

Monika - Yes I Do - YouTube

There are singers in Greece like her, but unfortunatelly they do not have interest in participating... So we have to send stuff like aphrodisiac and be happy with bnds like Koza Mostra...

That was rather interesting....

But I like Greek ethno-pop then... my only wish would be for it to be more "pure" and not the Swedish pop versions of Greek ethno...

Bring on modern laika a la Elli Kokkinou or Despina Vandi ! xcheer
