I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down
But I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
So you can wiggle with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you
'Cause I don't feel

Sorry

I really don't care (ah, ah-ah) that you want to bash me (ah-ah, ah-ah)
Do it with flair and I'll let you be (I'll let you be common Eileen)
But don't you dare (don't you dare), mmm, to get angry (to get angry)
When you realize those words just don't hit me
What?

'Cause I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
You feel so very clever whenever you find anothеr way to wear me down
But I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
So you can wigglе with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you
'Cause I don't feel hate

Sorry

I really don't mind (ah, ah-ah) to be your rival (ah-ah, ah-ah)
'Cause for your kind it's essential for survival (say what? He did not just say that)
Yes, I did (yes, I did), and I feel sorry (so sorry)
I don't feel hate, that's the whole point of this song (that's the song)
I guess you need patronization as some kind of validation
You won't cope with the frustration that your random me-fixation
Is another affirmation that you're just a hateful person
Who's not really better than me

Tap break, uh

I don't feel hate (don't feel hate)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down (wear me down)
Meine Damen und Herren
But I don't feel hate (no, no, no)
Das war's mit "I Don't Feel Hate"
I just feel sorry (just feel sorry)
Ich hoffe, Sie haben noch ein derbe nices Leben, und bis bald
So you can wiggle with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you (wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you)
'Cause I don't feel hate (no, no, no, no)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down (don't wear me down)
But I don't feel hate (I don't feel hate)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
So you can wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you (wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you)
'Cause I don't feel

So Jendrik Sigwart it is. The name was going around a few weeks ago already. I don't know what to expect, I hope something good.

Don´t know what to think either. His normal speaking voice sounds rather high for me. But maybe his song will surprise me in a good way.

I think we just have to wait, drink tea and hope for the best. xshrug

The music video (song?) will be released on 25th February: it will be shown at 17:30 as part of the Ski-Weltmeisterschaft (World cup) as well as right before the Tagesschau (News) at 19:56 on ARD/Das Erste.

Moreover, JENDRICK did compose and produce the song himself!

You know what I am doing right now actually? Drinking tea indeed! :ROFLMAO: He was schooled in musicals, so I am wondering if the song goes in such a direction.

ESC Kompakt writes that the song probably will be a cheerful and humorous song, including (probably) an ukulele since he loves that instrument.

Jendrick himself has already announced that he composed the song whilst playing his ukulele.... I think it will be part of his entry 100%

Well, since he wrote the song himself he seems pretty convinced it´s good. Thats a plus for me because the last two representatives from :de: had songs written by others, and at least Ben didn´t seem to feel that comfortable with "Violent Thing".

And he did the video to his ESC-song himself also by recreating a laundry with 16 washing machines. I hope that the song is not just cheap hullabaloo, but something more intense.

I just listened to the song @mauve linked in here. His singing voice is a bit more pleasant for me, but I´m a bit sceptical that an ukulele song could work on a big stage.

But again: I try to stay positive. :)

Oh wow, he is ... A LOT lol. But not necessarily in a bad way, certainly the opposite of Ben Dolic who was so introverted. Well, no idea what the song will be like. I'm expecting a Stefan Raab like ukulele entry that will probably be not very memorable but we will see.

Well if this isn't a disappointment. Like it may surprise me and I'll like it, but there seriously isn't any need for 2 dadis in one year. And also like is there seriously not established artists in Germany who want to do esc, I'm not talking famous, but at least artists that have an album or something, something that actually represents the German music scene and is not a nobody or a newcomer with a song composed by foreign people (even tho I loved Violent Thing).. I'm so disappointed I can't even express it. The song from him is kinda likeable, but that's it and I swear if it's a joke entry I'll just pass out. + I'm 100 % sure that they decided for him, because of Dadi and similarities between them and not because the song is actually going to be sth good. I PRAY that I'm wrong, but kinda feel I'm right..

He seems hyper energetic and that's why i'm optimistic.
I just hope the song won't be 100% ukulele, but if it is, then it needs to have witty lyrics.

I was worried this year would end up full of super serious covid songs, the fun happy vibes is exactly what we need imo instead of a wall of depression. He seems to be one to provide them vibes. Idk if the song will be for me given what I've heard but I am certainly interested.
