I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down
But I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
So you can wiggle with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you
'Cause I don't feel

Sorry

I really don't care (ah, ah-ah) that you want to bash me (ah-ah, ah-ah)
Do it with flair and I'll let you be (I'll let you be common Eileen)
But don't you dare (don't you dare), mmm, to get angry (to get angry)
When you realize those words just don't hit me
What?

'Cause I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
You feel so very clever whenever you find anothеr way to wear me down
But I don't feel hate
I just feel sorry
So you can wigglе with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you
'Cause I don't feel hate

Sorry

I really don't mind (ah, ah-ah) to be your rival (ah-ah, ah-ah)
'Cause for your kind it's essential for survival (say what? He did not just say that)
Yes, I did (yes, I did), and I feel sorry (so sorry)
I don't feel hate, that's the whole point of this song (that's the song)
I guess you need patronization as some kind of validation
You won't cope with the frustration that your random me-fixation
Is another affirmation that you're just a hateful person
Who's not really better than me

Tap break, uh

I don't feel hate (don't feel hate)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down (wear me down)
Meine Damen und Herren
But I don't feel hate (no, no, no)
Das war's mit "I Don't Feel Hate"
I just feel sorry (just feel sorry)
Ich hoffe, Sie haben noch ein derbe nices Leben, und bis bald
So you can wiggle with that middle finger, it'll never wiggle back to you (wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you)
'Cause I don't feel hate (no, no, no, no)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
You feel so very clever whenever you find another way to wear me down (don't wear me down)
But I don't feel hate (I don't feel hate)
I just feel sorry (I just feel sorry)
So you can wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you (wiggle, wiggle, wiggle you)
'Cause I don't feel

Someone did post a short sequence of the video in which the host announced it on FB but I don't know how to repost it in here

Just watched it again... Barbara says that they will announce the entrant "next time" not "next week".

@mauve Do you know when the next show of "NDR Talk show" is on air?

Damn! I was so shocked to see that "news" on my news feed on FB. I am relieved it's fake... That said, I think Andrea Berg can't be worse than other German ESC entries and it's time we submitted something with more identity... Even though some of us might be embarrassed because we tend to think Schlager is trashy.... I'd honestly prefer a German Schlager song I dislike to an artificial and generic bop produced by Bulgarians and performed by a Slovene newcomer in English at this rate.

83 million people live in this country. We are the largest music industry in continental Europe. It's pathetic we rely on Swiss leftovers in terms of Eurovision.

There's a strange comfort in knowing there's other people as fed up and embarrassed by their country's Eurovision shenanigans as I am by my own. It felt though at least like you were trying last year, and generally actually I think you put on good (sometimes great) national finals (we just have to forget 2017). The problem is your public generally pick the wrong songs when given control. I hope things go well this year.

Just checked the TV Programme. As I understood it, "next time" refers to the next show which is scheduled for 26th February?!? - I think this is way too far away to actually hype it tonight?

I'd be happy for some German Schlager tbh, maybe not Andrea Berg though... but if you'd send a modern-Schlager-dance-bop in a similar vein to Helene Fischer's Atemlos Durch die Nacht , you have absolutely nothing to be embarrassed of, in fact Germany might even win Eurovision again with such an entry (given the song is good and performed well of course)... I seriously mean that, no tea!

Now I do happen to like your entry in 2020 (it was in my top. 10), so I disagree with you that the song was bad, but I agree that it is kinda ridiculous that a huge market like Germany can't come up with something locally produced and need to rely on imports and I think it's time Germany sends a more "German" entry (not only locally produced but also in German language and actually sounding like it comes from Germany, it doesn't have to be Schlager, it can be Pop, Techno or Rock or whatever, but at least where there is some identity like you point out).

Ugh, now I feel hyped but I'm sure it will not be Andrea Berg in the end :(

Germany missed out on sending Uschi Blum. I always will regret this wasted opportunity!
