To be honest, there's a slight chance this Jendrik song is like... so outrageously bad the only logical response is to laugh at it's iconic terriblenes, and embracing it ironically.

The question is do I hate myself enough to do that, hmm???

Well, I laughed at the sudden manic drop. The song could very well end how you described it, being so bad that it's actually enjoyable ironically. The whistle bit though reminds me of kitchen adverts (or just adverts in general because they're all made to be as triggering as possible these days).

My favourite was when they had to sell candles and they decided to charge £40 for a candle as a base line price, and we all laughed at how ridiculous that price was and how no one would spend that on a candle - forgetting they were selling them in Central London where £40 was considered reasonable. I'd have liked to have seen them try that on the mean streets of Northern England.

I am happy that I have Japanese blood in me. I pretend fot this ESC season to not be German but Japanese. Then I don't have to be ashamed of my country. By the way, I slept actually pretty well. I actually don't know how I managed that.
