I think it was and still is, ridiculous and embarrassing that the largest music market in Europe had to get a Slovene artist, a Bulgarian producer, an American choreographer, a Swiss reject as an entry to represent Germany in Eurovision. Apart from financing the entry, not a single part was actually German - This might work for a small nation like San Marino but for us, I think it was utterly horrendous.

But overall, the song was alright.

To be fair, I will try to forget about the snippet for now, get some rest and see how the full song will sound like. Maybe it got a revamp or the song will sound alright in the end.. I'm just highly concerned about the song being a big fat mess because the 17 seconds we got are horrible (it's already like 3 different songs/styles being mixed into one)

Honestly, if the rest of the song sounds like the snippet, I wonder how so many international juries voted for it ... I will wait wait for the final song of Jendrik, but I have not much hope ...

I am SO damn lucky that I have Blind Channel to support. C'mon - Put your middle fingers up!

and it's not even like the right happy, it's that annoying type of happy.. like seriously and the HoD was talking about having an internal selection so big names can and also did apply and then they pick a no-name, which is fine (Duncan Laurence), but it is expected then for him to have an amazing song... sorry but I really doubt this was the best Germany could manage.

I wasn't planning to comment on the snippet, but after all the negativity i just have to..

I like the snippet. I also got "Do It For Your Lover" vibes, and the instrumental is so Stefan Raab and i'm so here for that. xdance2
