Would you consider placing a bet on a top 10 (odds: 3/1) or top 4 (odds: 15/1) result? I'm thinking about it, but never did something like that :lol:

I put down a small amount on top 10 yesterday at odds of 3.5, so yes. I later sold it off at 2.5, so I'm in a no-lose situation (get $10 if Germany lands top 10, lose nothing if they don't), but I'd consider putting some more money on it at odds of 3+ if I could get them again. I'd say he's got about a 40-50% chance of making the top 10, based on the song, reviews etc. (though note that I've avoided watching second rehearsal snippets).

Top 4 is... probably a bit more difficult. It could be value, and I wouldn't call it impossible, but personally it's not something I'd consider at odds of 15/1. Maybe if it got up to 30+.

The Alone-word-thing is a good idea because people will definitely remember that, but then again people will remember the psychodelic spirale too. :D Gave me goosebumps.

It grew on me since I last heard it but it's still somewhere in the middle of the road for me. I think that he could do well if he really delivers a good performance but, on the other hand, he could still end up, for example, 17th. It could go either way. I could listen to it just fine but I'm not overly excited about it sadly.

I'd be happy with the top 20 right now though :lol: But I really think top 10 could be possible. Let's see who will make it to the final today, it will matter too :mrgreen:

It's not like I truly believe in a top 10 placement ... it's just cool to at least have a shot at leaving the bottom 6 for once :lol:
I would be very happy with something around 15th or so.

The magic number is 18. If Michael can beat it it will be a new post-Raab record. Should be doable.

Should I be happy because there is no way on earth that we finish behind Ireland (so we're not last again).
Or should I be worried because such a near perfect performance like Croatia doesn't even reach the final?
