Maybe they change a few things. I remember Levina having pyros during rehearsal which did not happen then during the show

It was a mistake to not use pyros back then

why didn‘t they keep the idea with the photos of fathers and sons? It would have underlinded
the theme of the song.

OMG the song is already cheesy like nothing else and now that staging :? Even worse than in the NF....

I really don't know why anyone would call this the best staging in recent years! I'm totally with Padaraig saying that "this is not an English class where we need pictures telling us what the lyrics are about"!!

Andy I still don't fell ANY emotions but everyone is acting like "this is sooo sad and moving..."

I think tacky is the best word for this train wreck.

EDIT: Wow I just finished watching the Wiwibloggs review and I completely agree with Padraig in every single point he made! He said that he gets the emotion of because they present the song with sensitivity and class - totally my opinion!

Finally watched the video and must say that I truly loved the background. Unlike other People I thought the psychodelic visualization was perfect. Love the black/white contrast much more than the blue/red screen. Well done! I agree with William's Statement. He spoke from my heart.

Agree with you :-D I mean, we've always done simple stagings before (with the exception of 2011 maybe), why not do something "in your face" for a change

Absolutely. And it will stand out since hardly no entry uses LED this time.

I quite like the whole LED screen and what there is on it, Apart from when the black and white silhouette thing that comes from it. I had to look away for a moment, I find it quite dizzying and hypnotic.

And here is the interview with William from wiwibloggs. I had to laugh when he says that he had already seen the review video about his rehearsal, and he knew that William praised the performance while Padraig criticised it. Also interesting: Michael said that it is good when the song is polarising because people talk about it more. I totally agree with this. Last year, most people didn't even care about Levina and her song, and so it was quite forgotten in the end.

And the evening was completed by the "overview" review of the Big6 rehearsals. William and Chris are totally enthusiastic about Michael's performance including the staging. William tends to like almost every performance, but he talks really very positively about our German entry (starts at about 15:50):

As far as I could see it, Michael has gotten a lot more praise than negative criticism. So let's keep up the hope for a good placement.

In the beginning, I loved the song because of personal reasons I could relate to the song very much, then it faded a little, and after I saw his live appearances, I started to love it again. I am very proud of our song! Thanx, Michael!
