If I could vote on Thursday, I'll go for Michael Schulte.
I really want to hate Voxxclub, but I can't!
I don't think it would be the best choice for Germany, but I can't help - I find them funny and highly entertaining... And normally I absolutely HATE this kind of music, but they are in some way different...

AWFUL. It sounds like a cross between contemporary Christian and the stuff they play on the crap pseudo-indie station here stateside. [MENTION=15690]RoSSerb[/MENTION] had a point.

So the standard is higher than last year's NF, for sure. But that's not hard at all
I don't think the songs are bad but they are all so "by the numbers", so safe. Feels like almost all of them followed a instructions manual on how to be a bland, indifferent radio tune.
I think Rik really stands out. The orchestration is beautiful and the build up is great too. And the structure is very different, it doesn't follow a recipe like the others. However, his voice will be key for this to do well live. It can make it really magical or make it very weird. He really has to connect with the audience too.
I think Ivy would be my #2. I'm kinda disappointed, I thought she would bring something better that would stand out more. I like the music box sound a lot though, and hopefully the song will grow more on me. If selected it would possibly be another bottom 6 for Germany. Natia's voice is very raspy and different, I like that. However the song is very safe too, sounds kinda like a Melfest reject. Michael Schulte leaves me cold.

For better or worst, at least Voxxclub would leave a tremendous impact in Lisbon. You might as well send something fun and memorable.

Not that I hate that kind of song, it‘s just not my favourite music AND imo also not the spirit of Eurovision. For quite a few years we‘ve been listening to mostly plain boring pop songs in Eurovision. Why is that? You can watch that in every country‘s pop idol, the voice and whatever these casting shows are called. Almost every country has them. We don’t need a rip off in Eurovision.
