I think we know who will be getting the United Kingdom's douze points anyway this year
just like how the British guy representing Romania didnt get 12 in 2011?

Exactly! Im sick of QwaarJet telling me I should be thinking this, saying that, etc. It's just plain rude.
And I meant to add to that last post that it is important that the Eurovision winner is heard all across the continent the next year, and I believe that if Cascada wins this (or even if they do not), then it will be heard across Europe in 2014. There's no point in having a song that is forgotten about by the weekend after the contest, which is the case with most ESC entries .Fair enough
Well, I guess I'm ok with them winning... I'm just a let-down because it was a bit predictable and there were some other perhaps more interesting entries in there.

Somehow I dont think Hotel FM are quite as famous as Cascada .just like how the British guy representing Romania didnt get 12 in 2011?
Exactly! But the British guy representing Romania in 2011 wasn't popular in the UK (or he was?), just like the British guy representing Cyprus in 2010 wasn't and got 0 from the UK.

That sums QwaarJet up perfectly! Some people in this forum just think that their opinion is superior to other people. If they dislike a song, then nobody else is allowed to like it. If they find a song "meh", then whoever calls it "very good" is stupid.
I think the song got 3. But I think doctor means something different.
I still think Cascada will be seen as a joke act in Britain. The name just conjures up images of chavs in a park playing music loudly.Somehow I dont think Hotel FM are quite as famous as Cascada .
A joke act? I dont think so. Cascada's like one of the most popular dance artists here, everybody's heard of them too.I still think Cascada will be seen as a joke act in Britain. The name just conjures up images of chavs in a park playing music loudly.

I can understand your claim about Cascada's predictable win, but you cant say that it was a runaway. I was quite scared at some points in the voting .
Unless you mean televoting, which I have no idea about.
Well, to some extent I agree that it's good for the contest if the winner becomes a commercial success and manage to cross-over after the contest. Loreen sort of did that, and maybe Cascada could too (their already "known" name would help them).
