*sigh* well I suppose at least the Germans actually wanted it. I had this feeling that the online voting would lead to Cascada unfairly winning. Turns out the online voting was full of trolls and Cascada fans could not do enough spamming (literally everywhere I went I saw spamming) to win over Le Brassband. I didn't like how the lines were kept open after the online and jury votes had been given. Everything should have been stopped. Whoever is behind gets an unfair boost. I'm sure it didn't really make that much difference however.

Cascada's song is just... meh. Performed well by the girl but nothing more. It's the type of song I imagine people getting drunk to on holiday.

Ben Ivory let me down. I thought he had the best song this ESC year. He seemed to suffer from sound problems. Saint Lu was amazing, shocked by the 0 online votes. She could have thrown a spanner in the works if she actually received some points there. A shame really. I give Cascada 5 points for now and that purely is based on her vocals and performance.

Lol a sore loser as ever QwaarJet! Dread to think what your reaction will be after the vote up north
That was off-topic and uncalled for. Take that stuff to the appropriate thread. Sore loser? Considering LaBrassBanda were the closest challengers, I'm happy that Cascada beat them to the crown, I'm just annoyed the the result was predictable due to one of the acts being a big name.

Your comment annoyed me because calling a song one of the best ever ESC songs is something you just don't throw around willy nilly (although you seem to...you did the same with Danny last year, in which I seem to remember you moaning a lot afterwards and how much you hated Euphoria. Until a few days before the final when you magically loved the song).

Well, ESC and its fans have always been somewhat of a queer drama show. ;)

Re: GERMANY 2013

I confess I am from germany. And I am embarrassed.
Sorry Europe that we Germans have nothing better to offer than a cheap and obvious COPY of last year's winner song.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.

^
Hahahaha, yay xheya , I just won a bet!! Thanks to you!
I just knew, there'd be a statement in that certain style of ...how to describe it...'collective self-hatred-("while personally being an exception, of course, therefore, of course, ashamed as hell")-attitude' within the first five minutes after the winner song was revealed - now my neighbour has to buy me a beer. ;) Thx.

Winner song: Ok, I personally expect a good 17th place in the final.
But I'm still a little bit sad, that Betty's song drowned in this NF.

Sorry Germany, don't like it at all. There are already better dance tracks submitted. 1 pt and that is quite generous. However people seem to like it seeing all the 12 s given.

No ;). As I said, I love Natalie, I love Cascada, and I know that this time next year when I go clubbing Glorious will be played, just how Euphoria is played now ;).

Fair enough ;)

Well, I guess I'm ok with them winning... I'm just a let-down because it was a bit predictable and there were some other perhaps more interesting entries in there.

I don't know why this thing is repeated over and over again. Cascada is popular, yes, but the song is very good too, extremely catchy. Something that the audience appreciate. I'm sure they'd vote for it even if my aunt sang it. And it was by far the best performance in the NF. So, the audience was gonna say "let's vote for somebody else because Cascada will be predictable winner" if they liked this song more?

And isn't MHIY or anyone allowed to call this "one of the best ESC songs ever"? Someone can't just say what he likes because you don't agree?
