oh my god, tell me.. why should she even paint an usa flag? she also could paint an british flag but she is painting the whole thing in blue

and it's still pathetic to say that you know what wrong was - advirtising the usa because she was wearing an usa shirt

whatever the reason she wears USA t shirt, the same reason she should paint USA flag. This is not pathetic to me be like that. Actual pathetic is the someone who wants to see everything as s/he wishes because defending his/her own country, not even impartially.

I agree that wearing a T-shirt with an US flag on it was silly, but I do not believe this was the reason for the poor result.

I haven't noticed that t-shirt tbh.

And besides the points should be given to the song and performance, not because she was wearing a USA t-shirt. That's lame!

maybe it was, maybe she didnt even thought about it was she wants to wear for the postcard and picked it randomly but i don't think it's the reason for the bad results :)

I didn't say bad result's reason is having American something around.
I just said it was wrong thing to do and I am so glad she didn't end it so up because of carring American culture to contest. She should digest Eurovision soul herself first.

What does that have to do with bringing American culture in the contest? She isn't american and has nothing to do with America (I mean okay, they had four songs and three albums charting there, but that's it.), so why should she "promote" America?

I think the (ridiculous) plagiarism accusations played a part. Yes, there have been accusations in the past, but this is the first time I've heard them reported on the UK commentary. Wouldn't be surprised if Graham Norton wasn't the only commentator to baselessly accuse her of cheating before the song started.

I doubt she was a jury favourite either. Her and Krista may be the main victims of the new voting system.

Most of all, there was a problem with the song, specifically the 3 minute edit. It doesn't build to anything. There's just a cursory bit of a verse and then it goes suddenly into a big dance peak. The pacing is all off. I think, going forward, USFM should demand entries are 3 minutes long from the outset.

Only Ireland saved Germany from placing last with the jury. And if Ryan wasn't as bad as people said he was there is no question in my mind Cascada were going to be last with them no matter what.

What happened with the jury is EXACTLY what I feared what would happen. It funny how I let the crowd reaction and my own personal love of the song get in the way of that toward the end.

Jury results have not been released but I am confident about what happened. This new jury system REALLY needs to be scrapped ASAP!

It probably didn't sound too great on TV but in the arena Cascada received a HUGE response. That being said, her jury performance was off I saw it on the screen and I all I thought was "OUCH". So that certainly didn't help its chances. As a German I'm obviously disappointed but at least we stayed out of the Bottom 5. Cascada was so much fun in the press conferences though and I wish her the best of luck.

All I remember about her postcard is she was painting her shoes as USA flag and was wearing a USA t shirt when she went balcony.

Sorry, but this is nonsense. Who really decide, while looking the postcards. People who decide against her only wearing an USA-T-Shirt are not normal.

We shall wait for the televotes and the jury score to be revealed... then we can calculate Germany's position. I knew something wasn't right!!
