They are having a meeting tomorrow and they'll decide there which song will be sent to Malmoe. Hope they use their brains and listen to foreigners who really appreciated "Imperija" while "Pred da se razdeni" was dragged through the mud...

As long as those "foreigners" aren't from their neighbors though

But yeah, I totally agree!

I meant not those nationalistic pestles from Hellada just people who take care of music, not statue which was shown in vid for 2 seconds. :D

This is ridiculous! Why did they have to change the song, when they already had "Imperija" completely ready?? The fact that something like this can happen when it comes to something as innocent as Eurovision makes me feel like giving up on parts of the human race

About the song, well... it's kinda messy. 5 points because I like their voices.

They've also removed Imperija from YouTube, I searched for it and I could not find it....

Whenever they really will decide once again to change the song back to Imperija or to change it once again... wel... this will show "no-brains-habits" ^^'

False info.

MRT already confirmed Pred da se razdeni to Malmö and sent it to EBU. They will shoot an official video clip in the upcoming week.

What a horrible and stupid decision. They will finish last in the semi, and it serves them right. Only Macedonians are stupid enough to change a top 10 (even top5) candidate to this mess. I'm ashamed.

I gave Imperija 12 points. This entry doesn't deserve more than 2. I haven't paid attention to what made them change the song, but I hope they get punished for it since Imperija was truøly epic.

Pure idiots to be frank... to let some political opponents (locally and abroad) influence the choice of a song based on some absurd interpretations...

How stupid can one be really? Do they suddenly expect a 12 from Greece because they change the song or what?

What 12? You mean 0, right? Even If F.Y.R. of Macedonia has the best song, it has very low chances to gain at least 1 point from Greece. :|

That's what I meant, it was ironic meant...

What I mean is that if they think they'll get more support to change something that their political opponents aren't provoked by... then they should re-think because they won't support it no matter what they send.

I'm not sure where you're pulling this from. Every article released in Macedonian media has cited the Macedonian public's dissatisfaction with Imperija as the reason for changing the song.

Do you have a source for the change being politically motivated? Or is it just something you are personally alleging?

Actually, most of the criticism had to do with the video and promoting the Skopje 2014 project... surely the song was no masterpiece either... but most of the criticism had to do with whatever "message" they wanted to send... but then they could have just made a new video then?

I hardly see more people liking the new song more... I'd say even less.

The criticism for the video and the song were two separate things. People were not satisfied with the song which is why they planned to change it. If the song was received well, then of course they would just film a new video.

And from what I've read across different forums, the Macedonians are slightly more satisfied with the new song.

A bit funny don't you think, since who will vote for this? The Euro fans were quite happy with the first choice, but I've mostly seen negative comments about the second one.

I can't say much about that, but the majority of comments I've seen about the new song have been negative.

It is what it is, I guess. I prefer "Imperija" as it is tailored for ESC. This still has a shot for the final, but I am baffled why the Macedonians prefer this new song? Given that they chose "Nesto sto ke ostane", "Rusinka" and also that crap "Sreka" (2010 by Vlatko Ilievski also won the televoting), they shouldn't be allowed to pick a song.

Lol, they will be at the bottom at their jury ranking for sure, even if Lady Gaga sings a hit song.
