Its not bad and sounds like a real grower but Imperija was way more instant. Imperija had a fighting chance to make the final but this would flop in the semi.

It was a big mistake to change the song! If they were so offended by the message of the song then they should have simply changed the lyrics and kept the backing track. Fast and easy way to make everyone happy (those who disliked what the song stood for and those who liked its fun and joyful sound). Kalliopi changed everyones opinion with her performance last year and is now a fan favorite while Imperija was overall really well received. It looked like Macedonia was finally turning over a new leaf but now they decided to crumple the leaf and go backwards.

There was nothing "offending" with the lyrics... it spoke about music being the empire of the world that connects everyone and blah blah....

I still think they should change back because it's silly to let a group of political haters influence this because of their disturbed interpretations of it all.

So then it was just the video? If its just the video then changing the whole song is even more stupid. Because the only posts from Macedonians I see is all about government progaganda, new structures featured in the videos and stuff. Did Macedonians hate the song because it wasn't serious enough then?

Although it's not as bad as the first song, this sucks too. Vlatko's part are ok but boring, I really don't find the Esma's parts are fitting to the rest of the song. It's like a bad remix of two songs in different genres.

I'll give this 3 points in the poll.

To me it doesn't matter cause both songs suck equally and Esma's voice and style sucks IMO

I thought I was an alien to believe this too, hopefully someone who agrees with me. I find her voice and style really weird, borderline "what the hell" material

I like "Pred da se razdeni" , "Imperija" was awful oOX , and i hope they will make it to the final, Vlatko the BEST

Now, Oikotimes is hardly the most trustworthy source (and their bias against some countries - especially Macedonia - makes their articles even less trustworthy)... but they write that Macedonia is still not sure if they'll go with this new entry or send "Imperija" instead... as usual they provide no source (I guess their "source" is the fan discussions on places like here) and they got the deadline-date wrong (the deadline is on Monday as far as I'm concerned and not last night?)...

True or not... what do you think?

I only like Vlatko's part, Esma's part sounds so out of place. At least in in Imperija it was a bit more unified.

so they made up their mind at last? Now they need to kick Esma to the curb, she ruins completely what I consider a weak song to begin with. At least Vlatko's parts are somewhat pleasant but Esma's style and voice just doesn't fit the song at all. And as I said before, I just don't like her style.

Why did they change brilliant "Imperija" to this dubstep song? Vlatko's part in the beginning is really ok, but when it's time for Esma and her "Me mi Esma oleeeeeaaaaeeeaaaeeeeaaaa sha la lie sha la la!" I just want to say... "God, why?"

They are having a meeting tomorrow and they'll decide there which song will be sent to Malmoe. Hope they use their brains and listen to foreigners who really appreciated "Imperija" while "Pred da se razdeni" was dragged through the mud...
