Madame Monsieur - "Mercy": Nice interpretation of Mylène Farmer's hit
By the way, they spoke well about the message of their song, which like "My World", has that tropical-house signature sound, but that one has much more character though. Nice production and atmosphere. The lyrics are really good imo, the serious meaning gives the song more depth. HOWEVER, I don't like the "Mercy, mercy" part at the end and think it's not that groundbreaking overall musically-speaking: "OK ou KO" is safe in my book. Great performance nonetheless.

Ok, so it was definitely better live than in the studio for me. Will 100% give it that, however I still fail to figure out how it is so hyped. I don't think it's so much better than anything else in this nf so far.

BRAVO! MERCI Madame Monsieur! First live-goosebumps of 2018! Wonderful song, modern, emotional, cool and very different. Well done and is for sure a contender for the ticket to Lisbon! Amazing!

Amir says it's a song that brings people together. He likes the end of the song. It's a way to thank all Europe to be there...
Christophe finds the song really touching and says it's a clever song.
Isabelle loves the lyrics and finds the couple exceptionnal. She likes the voice of the girl.
Garou says they can win Eurovision like 1963. He has learned his Eurovision lessons !
They want to be in Eurovision to tell their story on the biggest stage possible...

I still don't get the hype behind "Mercy". The live performance didn't sell me on it i'm afraid. In fact, the attempt to make it anthemic with the hand clapping put me off it more so. Not awful but I feel nothing for it. Very beige.

Like wtf, he is in the band (it is a duo), he has written the song. I didn't even notice him, her stageprecence killed everything.
I don't understand how people are missing that this is really good. Sure, I still can't see anything beat Lisandro in the end, but this is simply amazing.

With the right staging Mercy could do great in Lisbon, right now is a solid act that needs some polishing
