France was my favorite, but even I knew Amir was losing steam.
Otherwise, France should be really proud: yes, it wasn't what they expected, but at the very least, they actually got its best placing since 2009.
To me, it seems that while still struggling, for now they seem to have step in in the right direction: they picked a good singer, with a good song, but they had troubles with the staging.
They have 2/3 of really having a contender, I just hope the French delegation learn from the good ("Hey: who knew that if you send a good singer with a current sounding song you can actually make it to the top 10?") and the bad (A better staging: I don't mean over-the-top special effects, but watch the last winners, and see they were not only good songs, but very visually engaging too).
