Good entry.
It's was already time for them to score a top 10 entry.

Ooh, I'm liking this. It's probably the most modern thing we've heard from France in Eurovision since... ever, I suppose. I can definitely see them doing well this year - not a victory, I think, but top 10 seems a good chance.

Usually I love it when songs go for the whole bilingual thing, but here the French parts sound much better, in my opinion - I wish the whole thing was in French. Still, it's a good entry, and I look forward to seeing it at Eurovision. For now it's going to sit a decent bit above my average of the chosen songs without troubling my top spot, but unlike most of the others, this hasn't had a chance to grow on me via an NF before I score it. Pretty sure this'll go slowly up my rankings and end at a 10, but for now, I think an 8 is fair.

Nice french song, modern and still feeling french despite the english chorus. Absolutely one of the best french entries in the last 3-4 years. Bonne chance en Stockholm, la France! :D

At this stage I feel like a broken record when critiquing the songs from 2016, so i'll keep it short and snappy. The song is not for me. I'm so fed up with this sound and style of pop. I find it really overproduced and plastic. With my strong loathing for acoustic guitar pop tracks with hand claps, wooOoooOoo's and whatnot, this song and I were never going to get on. This just isn't my year.... again.

I'd be happy to see France for once enjoy some success though. I have a feeling the song might do well.

3 points.

There's nothing modern and fresh about this. I just bought a big piece of cheese from 2012 that's fresher. If I keep it in its plastic wrap until May the two will be at the same level.

I don't hate it. It's sadly one of the better ones I've heard so far, but still very meh.

Where's the originality in this song? The class? The quality? Disappointing choice.

Woah, pretty cool and modern sounding song (compared to the previous french entries). I feel like France is trying, which..is something.

Sadly, after many disappointing results, France has to try scorewhoring with a cheap pop, not even entertaining.
Being France one of my fav countries in Eurovision I'll be glad if it works anyway.

Initially disappointed Sasha not selected, but this is a fantastic track. Instant, toe-tapper & Amir has the live vocal ability. They need to do a good job though whittling it down to 3 mins.

We will definitely do better this year, there is no possible comparison with our previous entries in terms of potential. It's a feel-good song with a rhythm that will probably appeal to the viewers. The chorus is in English, and I think it's ok, it blends rather well with the verses (much more than Echo for instance) and the "Yoouuuu" hook will make it memorable I guess. Performance-wise, well it's not stellar by any stretch of the imagination, but it does the job, one doesn't need amazing vocal skills to sing this anyway. Now, all they have to do is not ruin our chances with the staging, which will have to be simple and appealing.

My guess: I can imagine this being in top 20 for sure, top 15 is doable as well, top 10 we'll have to be lucky and on point. However, no way this could be ranked higher than 10th in the final. I'm not mad at it, I mean anything better than 20th position will already be a victory for France 2.

As for my personal opinion, this is not my type of music at all. This music genre RainyWoods described in his last post is the standard genre French record companies have been favoring for about 10 years now (feel-good guitars and clappings song), and I've always tended to avoid it because it does nothing to me. I think the genre itself is boring, cheesy and uninspired. But my reaction to our 2016 entry is "ok", it feels good to finally have a song that doesn't scream bottom 5 at first listen and I genuinely think it could fare well (considering our past results). Still, I'm not going to be crazy about it (for the main reason above), and if this year isn't as weak as 2013, this won't make it to my personal top 10.

As for the teasing, I give it a big fat zero  Today is not even the official presentation date, but whatevs!
