It really did feel like a positive turn was happening with the rehearsals

I was never expecting anything big but I was at least hoping they could get out of the bottom. That's not going to happen with this draw

Well I had hopes Lisa will do decently and maybe even top 15. Now for the three years in a row they gave us a killing draw.

What can I say ? We are now in a constest that everybody hates and make fun of in France. No one wants to send a song, no one wants to represent us, not even young singers.

And now that they want world countries to participate, maybe it's time for me and France to turn the eurovision page

Maybe you should try sending a song in English?

I'm pretty sure Björkman Björkmanized his own draw for the 2013 edition, and he doesn't work for EBU.

They couldn't be the finale though, they were drawn to perform in the 1st half.

Basically there was like 13 potential slots for us and of course we got the worst one. If that isn't blatant disrespect towards us considering our past slots, I don't know what it is. As I said in the grand final draw thread, I'm not fond of our song but I expected a decent draw since I thought we had explored all the "not-so-great" slots already... Now I will never ever underestimate the EBU's ability to ruin the few chances we have to be top 20.

Apart from the fact that the whole draw is a bad joke imo, our fate is now sealed despite the slight improvements we've had in the odds recently. In addition to that, we're between and , it's almost laughable as these people are unable to give everyone a chance, we should get back to the random draw asap.

I actually like this song. And of course, I have a soft spot for the entries that sing in their own language. I hope it does decently (and not last place like last year).

It's just not fair! She will be soooo amazing, and people were just waking up to that fact, then *boom* she gets the death slot. Everyone will forget about it after Israel and my favourite for the final will be waving at a low low place. The only thing I can think of to cheer me up is that she could perform so well that Israel's upbeat number gets utterly ignored as people are still recovering from the emotional punch Lisa packs!

I'm disappointed, it's not even a strong word to describe my feeling.
I try to be objective: Lisa was heavily applauded by the press center and many people highlighted a great effort about staging. A second position is way too early, especially when you consider that we got two crap running order in 2013 and 2014.
I have also compassion for Slovenia, Israel and Estonia but since the beginning, we knew that too many great songs got the first half.

A 20th ranking or lower can only be disgusting.

To be honest, I didn't find the Israeli staging that great. Not unforgettable for sure.
