This got completely destroyed by the draw unfortunately, sorry France but it's another bad result this year...

PREDICTION: 27TH

Yes, they are unlucky to have gotten a bad draw two years in a row. I dont't know bettet than to throw out J.O.Sand.

It's a shame they did that tbh... Because it was a very good song. I do like it a lot. I might just vote for it now to give it a little help along.

I guess our fate now depends on the juries, they may rank us decently enough regardless of our starting position. As for the viewers, I really doubt they'll remember Lisa by the time Israel starts to perform.

I just hope that she annihilates the opposition on the night by singing soooo well that Europe has no choice but to give her the victory. Yes, I know I'm probably living in cloud cuckoo land, but I don't care. ALLEZ LISA !

There is always a unexpected song that ends up high and I am going to predict it's going to be France for several reasons. It jumped up in the press voting, the staging looks beautiful and people raved about it in the jury show. I could be wrong but I'm putting this high, the juries will probably support it but will the televoters?

My prediction: 9th place

WOW 9th....you know something we don't :?

I'm still upset that France got hosed again. I never once expected this to trouble the top 10 or ever 15 but after the really positive rehearsals, and reaction on the odds, I really thought it could at least rise to 18-20th or something but of course the EBU had other plans that didn't include them so now its stuck being hopeless again :(

I don't think it's the EBU who makes the draw. I think the host makes the draw, so ORF in this case. I also think that if a host wanted to do a random draw, they have the right to do that.

I do think both her performance and the staging will help impress viewers at least during the song, and I expect loud applause from the audience in Vienna. She's not a favourite but I guess not many people will be indifferent to the message of the song.

Over the last three years, France was in the bottom 3. I am foolish enough to think it will not be the case tonight.
Let's say: around 10th with the jury and 22nd with the audience.

I guess that loud applause with occassional bursts of canned teenage girls screaming is the only sure thing this year. In case of this song it will be extremely bizarre.

Considering how stupid ORF has been using the canned applause/screaming in the last two semis I wouldn't put it pass them to do it during this as well, even though as you said it would be extremely bizarre

I'm leaving the forum for tonight, have a fantastic Eurovision evening everyone xwave
Good luck to my country, if we could achieve top 20 at least, I'd be satisfied.

I think juries gave a good result for France, but televoting... Anyway, I'm sure we will see a strong performance. Good luck to our lovely neighbours!

She did great, but that was fated to be a flop from the beginning, and the running order didn't help.

At least, thank you :am: for being our only friends in Europe () and thank you :sm: San Trollino for giving us points sometimes !

Hopefully, points for France are'nt a drinking game, otherwise it would be boring ! xrofl3

You'll have also notice that our spokesperson Virginie Guilhaume spoke in a crappy English to make everyone forget the shame of last year (and the shameful reaction of last year's crappy hosts)

She was the best performer tonight. What a pity that aged singers can score well only if they do something ridiculous... nvm
