Vesa Silver is her stylist. From the time it was announced that he would be her stylist I knew her costumes wouldn't be perfect, but this time he really managed to top himself. I am still in shock how bad these are.

And yes, I know Saara's own taste in clothes is quite bad, but good lord, a professional stylist should've stop it at least!

He is styling many celebrities here. And I am still clueless why so many productions use him. Never have his styles been something amazing. Although, he was a stylist for the musicvideos as well, and those were at least decent.

YLE knows about this criticizm, but they just brush it off by saying "it will look better on TV and you don't know all the secrets yet"

I don't understand why Saara chose Eurovision while she should try to build a career in the UK. This is the perfect time for her to get her name out there but she decides to waste it on something as temporary as ESC?

UK caring less about Eurovision each year makes it even worse.

Omg so much hate in the thread... personally I don't think her outfits are that bad at all and when it comes to the songs, they are much better than most songs we have had in UMK for years. Can't wait to see the performances plus Saara has AMAZING live vocals. I am SO happy I get to be proud of the Finnish entry this year. Rooting for Saara 100%!

As for the songs, at this point I'm resigned to embrace either Monsters or Domino, I just hope for a staging less cringe than I am actually expecting for UMK. We'll see, I've been cynical about Saara but I really want to support Finland this year.

Not only does Domino sound like Sound of Silence, the concept of the video is nearly identical as well. The modern dancers, the smoke, the slow mo singing close ups... even the overall theme and colours!! I wonder if it was intentional..

As if The Sound of Silence were the first cheesy power ballad or the ultimate one. Please, nobody outside the bubble even remember that song. Let's start the paranoid of comparing past ESC entries to the current ones.

For what it's worth I find Domino much better than Dami Im, which was ridiculousy overrated, 2nd place please....
Can't wait for tomorrow's live performances, I like Monsters and Queens the best, but Domino would be a respectable entry too. One thing for sure, I will be supporting Finland this year again

Sound of silence's live performance left all the competitors (except Ukraine obviously) in total agony asking for mercy. Still one of the best recent ESC entries.

Domino is a completely different song anyway. It would be a respectable entry but I can't see it fighting for a high placement.
