Seriously? Sweden is already the big favorite. I think they want it to make it a safe win... So lame.
We're not a "big favourite" and I highly doubt we'll win.

I do not see the logic of the producers

I thought they were supposed to put songs of a similar style apart... I know they have done with some but not all

Yeah, it seems that they want to screw some countries, so that they put songs of a similar style right after the other.

Otherwise, how come there are "Armenia-Monténégro", "Poland-Greece" and "The Netherlands-San Marino" following each other?

Imo the unluckiest there is Greece with Poland just before and Austria just after.

Exactly the ones I was thinking of.

It doesn't make sense

Does anyone know why this draw is fixed? I mean in the past years it was random draw, wasn't it?

Producers introduced it to avoid 'clumps' of boring songs together, especially at the start of the show. It supposedly makes it more interesting and exciting to watch.

All it does for me is makes it stick with unfairness. Sweden asked for 13th, they got 13th. The lighting takes time to set up - why not first then?

Last year it was fixed too. The producers just want to avoid all songs of the same genre to be performed one after the other, as this may bore viewers. Imagine all ballad together, or all dance/disco entries one after the other... I think random draw would be fairer, though.

The only possitive from this running order is :ch: being 20,:hu: #21 and :sm: #25.

I think that also :at: can make somthing great -even winning- but if she was in the second half she would have more chances... Also Poland is again near to Conchita again and this is negative IMO. Also Armenia hasn't many chances also from the #7 (I think so I don't remember). But it was a total killing :az: performing #3 and :ua: #1

The way they screwed some favorite like Armenia and Ukraine is scandalous. And Sweden got one of the only first half good draw.

And guess who got a killing draw two years in a raw now. They managed to get us the only second half killing draw. Thanks !

Oh yeah, let's put ALL the favorites in the 2nd half to make their job easier, and let's put ALL the underdogs in the 1st half to kill them faster
Some people are really ignorant sometimes :? Of course it has to balanced!

I think it's okey, the most important were which songs we have before and after. But I don't agree with those saying we have this in the bag. It's wide open between 5-6 countries

I don't think we have this in the bag, it's not our year!

Anyway if Azerbaijan and Ukraine were top 3 in semi 1 public voting this is total lack of respect for televoters.

This is an absolutely shocking mess. I hope that it creates such a scandal that it is forced to resort to the old fairer random draw.

Have there been any reports from Cph about any of the delegations complaining? I doubt it'll make any mainstream news. And aside from us fans, who else will care? The system will stay in place for as long as the Western countries keep winning. As soon as Russia or Azerbaijan wins again, it'll be back to the random draw - or some other kind of system where the host country can't decide it. Mark my words.

TBH I could easily see the BBC screwing over eastern Europe in the order. I would imagine Ukraine complaining.

I hope there will be a change this year, just look how repetive the winners starting positions are:

2013: #18
2012: #17
2011: #19
2010: #22
2009: #20
2008: #24
2007: #17
2006: #17
2005: #19
2004: #10 (thumbs up)

It does look too fixed for me...

Ukraine could be a good opener, Belarus and Norway are dead I think.
On the other side, so are Malta + Switzerland - I categorize both songs as 'folk songs' (subject to opinions of course) and with the Netherlands so close, they are both dead. Not sure of last place is good enough for Molly.

Poland and Greece next to each other is weird...

7 and 8 are ballads (of sorts), then 9 and 10 are two uptempos, they could have shuffled those four...

Seems like I should already book a ticket to Budapest for next year. It's too obvious now that Running is the only song which stands a chance to win anymore.

Does anyone know when the commercial breaks will be? Their position will be quite important for the outcome as well.
