What's up with the televoting process?!

The first qualifiers (Ewert and the Two Dragons, OLLIE, 5MIINUST x Puuluup) were combined jury+televoting, and now there's another round with televoting only? What is even the point of having a jury?

The first three qualifiers were logical (Ewert & The Two Dragons, OLLIE and 5MIINUST), the fourth completely random (really, Peter Poder?) and the fifth... so-so, even if a contender (Anet Vaikmaa).

So happy Anet qualified. Was actually surprised cause thought with only one slot left Traffic would be the ones.

Some of the qualifiers were a mess like Ewert and Peter Põder plus all the auto-qualifiers are terrible.

Anyway, 5MIINUST have it in the bag.

good jurys should hear,that he is only soundsurfing on older classicacts.
further inga,antsud and maybe cecilia belong into a final - the mistake is made by estonian television with that silly unfair mode - they should give 1-2 wildcards as compensation for their freaky mode.

Well, 5 Miinust were pretty weak tonight, especially staging-wise. If they don't improve by the final, Ollie has it in the bag.

Bit disappointed for FOMO nq but I'm not surprised. To be one of the 5 out of 15 songs to qualify is tough and Cecilia didn't give the best performance.

I did not like the voting structure. 3 mixed + 2 televoting-only qualifiers seems very poorly balanced. Jury impact overall is minimal, why have them at all? Especially when they mentioned that it was the biggest jury so far with 25 members. Either respect the jury or get rid of it.

I did not like that even before the show began they revealed the favourites of some of the jury members. One of the jurors even mentioned that it was based on the studio versions before seeing the live performance, so what was the point of that reveal?

I did not like how they randomly revealed how many times some of the artists got maximum points from jury members. Again, what was the point of this reveal? We can extrapolate some data from it, but in general, being a favourite of one jury member doesn't really tell us if they did well or poorly overall with jury voting.

Based on what we know, Ewert and the Two Dragons were probably the big winners with the jury who helped them qualify, whereas the second televoting round, where each televote is multiple times more significant then in the first round, allowed some complete random like Peter Põder qualify. I find it hard to believe that he would have been anywhere near the televoting top 5 in the first round.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I still feel like Ollie is the one with the most ESC potential. For me, 5Miinust is just a chaotic mess and even if it does landslide the Eesti Laul televote, it’s too local and disjointed and I don’t see it being the ESC televote magnet people think it is.
