Too forgettable to qualify IMO + most of the strongest songs in this semi are in the beginning and that can damage Slovenia and, especially, Estonia.

I agree because it has an early draw, so it will suffer in the end, that's what I think. If it was in the second part of the semi, somewhere in the end, it would have more chances to qualify.

Ι think that it would be better for Estonia to perform 1st than 2nd.

I agree. I'd say Cyprus have more chances to qualify because of that (I mentioned Cyprus as both songs are simple ballads by a female singer sung in their native languages)

I find An Me Thimáse rather bland, but I guess people will lump it with the Estonian song just because they are ballads. The chorus is nowhere near as uplifting to me as the Estonian song which from the piano intro onwards has a melodic flow to it which is much more powerful.

Just checked the lyrics, I think they are also quite a bit weaker. Perhaps repetitions in it might mirror the repetitions that weaken the music. Whereas the lyrics in Et Uus Saaks Alguse build up to the blossoming chorus.

I, too, prefer the Estonian song by miles but you can't deny those two songs are similar in their own ways and that can hurt both songs' chances.

I honestly don't think they are that similar, except on a rudimentary level. And that level is where people aren't concentrating on the music to the detriment of the arguably better composed song.

This song could have won in 1993. I like it, but it's very dated. Either way, good luck Estonia.

I'm very glad that it doesn't try to be hip with some shallow recent trend (which would be considered dated in a short while anyway).

I enjoy this song while I'm listening to it, but then when it finishes, the very next second I can't remember how it goes, at all! And I listened to it at least 5 times!

It's somewhere in my top 20 of this year anyway.

I have that problem with 90% of the other songs, but not this one. That has a clear melody running from the start to the end, with an anthemic chorus.

I'm not a fan of the high note at the end of the new version!

The Spanish version is quite good. Better than most of the translations of the ESC songs and her pronounciation is almost perfect!

Not that surprising that is sounds good in other languages, the music has a classic flowing line.
