Tonight, I wanted to listen to all the songs again. My ranking has undergone a big change. This is the result:

My "Top 10":

1. 10/10 = my guilty pleasure
2. 10/10 = technically the best song
3. 10/10 = Destiny brushed my hair with her voice! Wow!
4. 09/10 = Jendrik's cheerfulness is contagious
5. 09/10 = Vasil is very underrated! Sublime vocal rehearsal and very deep song. Technically, after France, it is the best
6. 09/10 = You can also say that I am crazy but I would gladly listen Uku's song on the radio
7. 09/10 = Is a real gem. Perhaps it is the only song that I would see well as one of the pieces of a movie soundtrack
8. 08/10 = great vocal proof and very good song
9. 08/10 = It is not the masterpiece that everyone fervently says, but I like it
10. 08/10 = I have reevaluated "Karma" a lot. At the moment, "Top 10" deserved

All the songs from 11th to 21st place I was very sorry to put them out of my "Top 10". They are all great songs that I enjoyed listening to. There is still a chance for them to enter my favorite songs.

From the twenty-second to the twenty-sixth position there are songs that I liked but that haven't won me over yet. However they could go up in the rankings even if ... it will be difficult for them to enter my "Top 10".

From the twenty-seventh to the thirty-second position are the songs that I respectfully consider "weak". The fight is between them. It is an almost completely crystallized point in my ranking.

From the thirty-third to the thirty-ninth position are the "wrong songs". I don't hate these songs but each one has a very important flaw. This point of my ranking is also almost completely crystallized. These songs will fight each other.

33. 04/10 = "Mata Hari" deserved more but I punished the near resemblance to "Cleopatra".
34. 04/10 = I am very sorry for Denmark. I appreciated the courage but the sound is dated.
35. 04/10 = A song that has the desire to excite you but fails.
36. 04/10 = It's a badly constructed song. With more attention could have been done better.
37. 04/10 = I can't comment. I respect the Russian song but it arouses nothing in me.
38. 04/10 =the song is not bad but it was destroyed by Montaigne with the Live rehearsal. Also ... forgive me but ... to me this woman, since last year, gives me the creeps.

4. France (The nostalgia)
5. Russia (I’m not russian, I just like the song for no reason. It was also released on international women’s day as the song is about feminism and stuff like that. i also feel bad for all the shade she’s getting)
6. Israel (revamp goes brrr)
7. Ukraine (I have a bias to spring)
8 Sweden (too generic, only for the vocals and strong voice)
9. Netherlands (very unique, as it’s using african stuff like congas or something)
10. Croatia (gets more boring every time you listen to it)

12. Belgium (huge improvement, but very repetitive)
13. Malta (could countries stop sending feminist songs for 5 SECONDS? it’s still a banger though)

35. Georgia (take me as I am was better, but it can hit you hard at time)
36. Denmark (very joyful, but I would’ve preferred iron heart)
37. Ireland (improvement from “the story of my life“ and I’m ashamed to put it at the 3rd to last place)
38. Poland (way worse than alicja’s submission in my opinion)

SUCH a strong and diverse year! I have at least 25 songs that I really enjoy listening to.
1. Malta - Everything with this song is so well thought out from build up to lyrical content to pairing with the artist. My winner
2. Slovenia - Something about Anas vocals really just sends me over the edge emotionally. First listen made me cry, ballad of the year for me.
3. Bulgaria - Tears getting sober was my winner last year, not as amazing as 2020 but still very good. Victoria really has the whole package.
4. Australia - Biggest grower of the year, started out around place 20 for me but now I really appreciate that Australia is trying something more unique and bold compared to their previous entries.
5. Romania - Looove Roxens vocals in this, and if the staging is anything like the music video I'll probably burst into tears during her performance.
6. Serbia - I can see why people argue that there is too much happening in this song but that's what I LOVE about it! All in or nothing
7. Azerbaijan - Reminds me of how much I miss Turkey at Eurovision. Combine Always and Dum Tek Tek, make it modern and you get Mata hari!
8. Greece - Very well produced song, current and contemporary with some great vocals on the studio track. One of my top gym songs at the moment!
9. Ukraine - The revamp unfortunately took this out of my top 5. I still love it, but for me the structure of the song was more impactful before the revamp.
10. Switzerland - Beautiful song and Gjon has PIPES, no one can deny that. The song however does not grip me as much as Repondez moi or Arcade did.

11. Cyprus - Very Lady Gaga-esque and great hooks throughout the song!
12. Moldova - Loving the Maruv vibes but would have wished for the instrumentation to be a little bit more powerful!
13. Israel - The revamp really lifted this song. Eden is a great performer.
14. San Marino - A catchy and hooky bop, but Serbia Greece and Cyprus are better in my book.
15. Russia - Out of what we have seen so far Manizha really is one of the best stage performers of the year, this song has some parts which I really love but some which I feel are a bit unnecessary or boring
16. Ireland - The best Irish entry in MANY years, but feels just a slight bit overproduced to me. Not loving the vocal in the studio version
17. Iceland - This song is groovy! Not as interesting as the 2020 entry unfortunately.
18. France - Great, but it doesn't hit me emotionally like Slovenia or Bulgaria, therefor the lower placing
19. Estonia - I just like this haha
20. Croatia - A bop, but not as good as the other bops

21. Netherlands - An interesting song which kind of reminds me of Frank Oceans earlier work! Could be more memorable.
22. Czech Republic - A great pop song but it does kind of pass me by
23. Finland - Eurovision-metal at it's finest, the chorus is very catchy.
24. Italy - metal is not my favorite genre but I can appreciate this! Finland is better for me though.
25. UK - Best UK entry since 2017, but in this year we have many songs that are better unfortunately.
26. Albania - a bit bland but I like the ethnic instrumentation
27. Georgia - I do connect with this song but it is boring..
28. Belgium - Not my thing.. but I can see why others enjoy this
29. Lithuania - didn't really enjoy On fire last year either
30. Sweden - our NF really needs a revamp that's all I have to say

31. Norway - just no
32. Austria - just no
33. Portugal - boring
34. Poland - just no
35. Germany - just no
36. Latvia - too much
37. Denmark - ben and tan got played. DR should've ditched MGP and just sent them to Rotterdam with Iron heart
