This is clearly a NF with some big guilty pleasures! One the one side I really enjoy Higher Ground and Boys on Girls but on the other side they are so cheesy! :lol: :lol: I really don't know how to feel... They are fun in their own way and I can imagine a decent, outstanding staging for both of them... But then I start wondering about it again! xgaah

Higher Ground is so Disney! And it's so Danish haha! (Someone claimed the opposite before) It's somehow feels quite dated but it's also so enjoyable!! I already see my friends loving this in May... And that key change! xlove But then again those other feelings... xshock1 xcrazy xstars

Boys on Girls gives me Suitcase feelings at the beginning and then goes in a quite nice direction... Those lyrics... :lol: But after some time it also gets a little boring...

All in all it seems like an interesting NF! I'm curious about how my opinion about Higher Ground and Boys on Girls will develop! :)

Her song is a lot better than I expected. Different style too. I just wish it wasn't so repetitive. But I do like it.

But I'm all in on Rasmussen. If he wins, Denmark may end up being my favourite of all the songs in Lisbon. What an amazing song.

I am afraid that a vote for Charla K would be a total waste.. there is no way she will be able to fight for the victory in the norwegian MGP... xshrug

So DR said they would revamp the selection this year but in the end the selection is still way too uniform. Not a big variety of genres. The overall quality is a lot better though, I think.

My favorite is "Boys on girls", I really like the mix of the 90's disco vibes with the more modern eletronic sounds. And the lyrics are pretty funny too. It becomes a bit repetitive but i's very catchy and it sticks in our minds. Her voice reminds me of Lana del Rey somewhat.
I really like "Holder fast i ingeting" and "Signals" too. They're on a similar genre to Sannie and they're catchy as well. The Danish language adds something special to the former and the latter has a very original and different structure. I also find "Starlight" very cute.

I don't really get the hype for "Higher ground". For me it's nice, but it's trying way too hard to be something epic and new but it just doesn't get there. It's way too over the top dramatic and cheesy for that.
