Ok, now let's think about it:

1999 - Sweden
2012 - Sweden
2000 - Denmark
2013 - Denmark
2001 - Estonia
2014 - Lithuania's first victory??

Hmm with that logic it would rather be Estonia's second victory no?

However, Estonia's victory had to do with the enlargement of the EU... so maybe we'll get a small country with EU ambitions winning in 2014? Moldova, Montenegro, Macedonia... MMM's

These annoying comments about "plagiarism" are everywhere. I hate them, every year they accuse the winner that it's plagiarism. xstars

...a member of K-otic says that while there are some similarities it can hardly be called plagiarism. Dutch producer and talent show judge Eric van Tijn says, “Eurovision songs should be new compositions. The [flute] melody is clearly one-on-one, that is undeniable. Still, I think it a storm in a glass of water, because it is only similar in the intro”. Sietse Bakker from the EBU says, “There is a difference between plagiarism and songs that sound similar. Such claims are made every year. From my experience, the conclusion always is that the songs sound alike, but it’s not plagiarism”.

I had no idea about that song before, was it a hit or anything?

Naaah, i just follow the streak 1998 Israel - 2011 Azerbaijan (an exotic country not too much in Europe), 1999-2012 Sweden- 2000-2013 Denmark, the Baltic country is in the line for the next win, I don't see Estonia winning soon but Lithuania is the only Baltic country that has not won yet so...it'd be great :D But that's just a fun thing to think about, i think that Sweden-Denmark thing is a co-incidence just like Romania's spot in final winning the next year. I wanna see someone's first victory the next year, i don't care who it's gonna be, there are so many countries that deserve it. Oh i know! Bosnia returning to the contest and winning it would be epic! xheat

Why do you need to let everybody know how unhappy you are with the danish entry? Page after page... I don't see you slacking off other songs like that.

It doesn't make any sense to me, particularly after you voted 6 in the poll.

So, now DR have to start thinking about how to organise a new ESC. Are there any gossip? Which arena/city is most likely?

edit
Alright, I found a specific thread for it :| link

I still do not see any appeal in this clichéd song, sorry. Sounds like an entry that would of finished 20th in 2007. Whatever, I cannot clearly trust the EBU either.

It's not a secret that I'm not a big fan of this song so I wasn't too happy when it won. But Europe has voted and that's what matters, at least I'll get to go to a country I'm rather familiar with next year. I did my ranking of favorite winners right after and "Only teardrops" ranks last at least the last 10 years (though Latvia 2002 is still worse). Emmelie was at times a bit cold and short with people and while I didn't get to talk to her, those who did were not too impressed. But personal opinion aside, I just hope Denmark won't pick a small city like Sweden and we all will end up in Copenhagen next year..

Emmelie looks like such a sweet girl to me, maybe she was just tired? They all must have been so tired.

Please explain, because we surely didn't want to host ESC 2002. Our broadcaster was on a verge of bankruptcy and the hosting nearly went to Malta. And why didn't Croatia win ESC 2013?

You know that SVT helped out alot with both ESC 2002 in Estonia and 2003 in Latvia right?
