This is slowly dropping on UK iTunes. Been looking round for Facebook campaigns and how to create one to make this a UK Number One. It is about time a Eurovision song got to #1 here. Euphoria would have gotten to #1 if the radio played it more and this year's winner has only ever played once from what I've been hearing.

Make this a #1 here please so we can gloat at all those Eurovision haters and also just to hear whoever does Sunday's chart's reaction when it gets to the top.

Emmelie is signed to Universal Music Denmark which must have been done fairly recently. How she managed to release an album in this short time, is beyond me. It's pretty unrealistic to expect she'll rush the charts as it is. In my opinion she'll need a more solid ground with a couple of more good songs and some hard stage experience. I hope she will do some summer gigs in Sweden, just as Ivi Adamou (La La Love ESC-2012) did last year. Popular Swedish TV show Allsång på Skansen?

I don't know if this have been discussed before. On youtube there are some videos of Emmelie and a middle-aged man singing something that sounds like folk music. Wiki says it's the Scottish musician Fraser Neill and they have been doing this since she was 14. Anyone knows more about story behind this? Anyway, it surely must have been beneficial for her with this stage experience, because she was very professional while performing Only Teardrops in ESC.

That's news to me. It sounds quite interesting and I can imagine quite many of the Eurovision singers including Loreen being professional singers since a young age.

Loreen has said as a child she used to look for places with great acoustics (like a church, the bathroom etc) and sing, filling her mind and totally forgetting about time. A condition she actively tries to recreate while singing nowadays. She is naturally shy and didn't have much public stage experience before entering Swedish Idol. Idol gave her TV training though. But I guess doing the actual performance comes natural for her even if she trained it in private.

Only Teardrops is already starting to drop quite rapidly in the UK chart. It is now top 20 with combined chart when it was at #6 just a few days ago.
