I think, in this song you can hear many different styles and this makes it outstanding. Nearly everybody like some parts of it. And the show was brilliant yesterday.

Still there's much better in semi-final 2. However, like I said it is a good song, just not as outstanding to me as it seems to be to most of the fans.

Very good overall performance by Emmelie! One of the best yesterday, not considering that the song is one of the best and that she will be a top three for sure! (in my personal classification she's 4th). She had the only song with that red on the back and sparklings that gave a magic touch! Very good!

Last night I voted for it xcheer
Am I the only one who heard that the sounds of the drum had changed? Like a bit more electronic, I liked it :)

Totally agree with what the Australian commentator said on the UK coverage. It is not right that they presented the Danish entry almost as if it had already won. A glitter drops and waterfall pyro's are for a winning song. Really annoyed at that. It was like we were being told who to vote for.

And it needed saying again.

I hate this kind of rubbish. Eurovision has never been fair, but this realy is ridiculous. To give one song such preferential treatment makes me sick. I am really pissed of with Sweden for this and it makes me not want to watch this year. I don't blame Denmark, it is the Swedish rule changes that are at fault and the organisers. Bjorkman seems like a control freak.

Here goes the conspiracies...
How is this Sweden's fault and in what way did we get any preferential treatment? We were drawn 5th in the semi-final (not exactly a preferable draw) and haven't been drawn into any position in the final yet, so I really don't know why you wanna go there 'cause you're on thin ice here.

So, with your sense of logic, the only "preferential treatment" I can think of is Malmö being picked as a host city (and even that is a long shot!) and the fact lots of danes have seen this as the perfect opportunity to watch it live, but had a city further up north been chosen there probably would've been just as many norwegians, finns, whatever. This is a completely natural reaction of a host-city bordering another ESC-country and it's been like that all the time.

Oh my, this crap again... Why is not Denmark allowed to use any gimmick it wants? Well, anyone could use glitter drops and waterfall pyro if they wanted, but because it's Denmark which is the big favorite for the win, people were annoyed. Nobody would care if Estonia or Austria or anybody else used that "gimmick", but because it's Denmark, then we have all these conspiracy theories!

Being told who to vote for, I had to laugh at this. You mean that if Montenegro or Cyprus or somebody else who didn't qualify used this people would vote for it?

Congrats Denmark! Totally deserved!!! I think it won the semifinal with ease, and top-3 in the final is almost certain!

A glitter drop is for a winning song. Would they allow every song to have a glitter drop? I don't think so. The ridiculous cheering, the UK commentary telling us how amazing the song was and the unfair staging of the song all made me wanna turn off. I am sure I am not the only one to think this.

In the past there was less emphasis on favourites in the contest. It was left up to everyone to decide on the night. Eurovision now seems to have turned into a contest that no longer presents each song equally. We are told which song is favourite and just like X-factor there are no so subtle features added into the production to lead us to vote a certain way. The Danish presentation was overkill.

I think he is sorta right though. I love the Danish song (and I would be happy if it wins :D), so don't get me wrong. 5th isn't the best draw I agree, but it is before a break. Also, Finland and Norway are also before the break. Coincidence? Iceland is chanceless pretty much in the other semi.
Plus on the opening ceremony, the hosts said that Emelie is a favourite to win according to the bookies. Also, again they mentioned that they could be going very close next year. Hints and tips, whatever you wanna call them, but they are there. I do hope Denmark wins, instead of Norway (which is not high in my book and would make a horrible winner). But there is a bit of favouritism, despite the fact that there is a rivalry between Sweden and Denmark.

I agree totally. Except that I feel the exact opposite about the Norwegian entry. I think it would be a refreshing winner.

No matter how much I love the Norwegian entry I still wouldn't like it to have an unfair advantage. The Swedes have meddled with this contest too much and have tried to dictate too much how it is to be presented. The positions of perfomance should all be randomly drawn. There is enough unfair advantage in this contest already. The Swedes are playing a very dangerous game.
