Russia is Russia they won't miss the final... Almost all the ex-USSR block is in this semi so I'm sure that it will qualify. Even the song was the worst of all (it's obviously not. In the Ranking game I think that they just forgot it or something) they will be in the final

They came 9th in 2011's semi-final, just 10 points above the qualification line. And I think that effort was superior to this one (even though not much).
With the new voting system, the subpar song and the whole Crimea drama, Russia might really fail it this year.

I know but they qualify and they came 16th at the end with isn't a bad result. I'm sure that they will miss votes but it's still Russia. I agree that 2011's entry was quite better but this isn't bad too. I think that the jury will save Russia if they see that it hasn't got appeal but for now ut doesn't do bad in the odds

I think that Russian TV is broadcasted there now, so I'd say they're voting as a apart of Russia, which could mean more votes to Ukraine from Russia.

If Ukraine has any sense they will discount the Crimea vote for Russia. Crimea votes will count as Russian now.
Russian votes will be for Belarus their only friends.

Russia and Belarus are not in the same semi-final. And I doubt Belarus will get out of their one. (And Russia might not as well)
