Kind of like a blend of "Mama Mama", "Rhythm Inside" and a bit of"Lautar" from many years ago. Interesting and unusual sound, very driving rhythmic feel but it's too repetitive at the end, they should have added some horns or a more interesting bridge to break it up. I think this could do really well though, they should go for an exciting staging but they might very well screw that up. At least you gotta sa it's contemporary....

I have had too many things on my mind the last couple of months and havent really paid attention to the ESC season so far. I just heard Lie to Me for the first time. I didnt have high hopes this being the Czech Republic - but wow was I in for a surprise! I didnt listen to the lyrics - and I really liked this! Cool! Mikolas seems like a charismatic performer as well (judging from only one video, I know....).
I do agree the lyrics are not very suitable... BUT I cant help really liking this!

I never sad they were the worst thing a child can learn, but there are laws against swearing before a certain time on tv for a reason. They aren't something a child needs to learn, especially in the contest they are being used in this song.

Yeah! Bad staging can ruin a song. Hopefully they have learned their lesson eith Macedonia last year!

I do like it (and his voice), and despite its somewhat repetitiveness, it still draws you in.

OK finally Czechia goes for a BelAmi look-alike boy... bet some (many) were waiting for this.
Although in the video Mikolas apparently relies on his looks, the song itself has potential it's not bad. I hope he can deliever more than a pretty face, see what happened with Imri last year, looks over talent shouldn't pay off in current Eurovision years.

Keep in mind that matching Imri's 23rd place would be the Czech Republic's best result ever Though I do hope that they can manage a bit higher with a good performance.
