So this song was released on YouTube two days before Franka revealed her snippet for 'Crazy'. It's obvious that someone has plagiarised someone else but which we round it is is not obvious at the moment.

franka obviously got plagiarised and not the opposite. this song sounds too much like someone pilfered the instrumental and sang over it. she should pull some receipts and be cleared easily.

Sorry but the song is a bit boring to me, I "get" where they're coming from with it, but the song lacks the necessary production and oomph to really stand out (feels a bit unpolished to me) and it also feels like it's coming some years too late tbh. It's not necessarily a bad song, but I have a problem seeing it standing out this year which is a general strong year and where we have entries in a similar tone to this one that are much stronger.

Croatia WTF?

Often in Eurovision you hear plagiarism accusations and some of them have some argument to be made but this one is pretty definitive, it's straight copy-paste.
The song should be disqualified yesterday.

EXCEPT IF: The other creator somehow stole the music of the song and put different lyrics.

Maybe the song writer sold the same demo twice or something?

Might it be a planned Promo-move from Croatias Broadcaster to be in Conversations?

In case of a disqualification it probably wouldnt be because of plagiarism (because it's not)
I'd say they both bought the same backing track from a producer and produced their own song out of it, it's just something different than plagiarism. Though it's a problem now anyway...

You are probably right. The production is just too similar (frankly speaking they are exact the same), and the two songs are released just about at the same time. Something must have happened here - not plagiarism.
Croatia is actually in my top 5 this year, so I am quite intrigued by this!

Crazy will get a new version y'all it's announced!

Really? Well, if they can add some oomph and better production to the song, I don't mind... but if that's true, it's also them (the team) admitting that the background music demo was in fact given to two different sources at once, I mean if the Romanian rap thing was the plagiarism, then I don't see why the Croat team would bother with a new version since they didn't do anything wrong?

Wait so what IS happening?

Pretty much, the producer of the song David Mevlja aka Denzel Beats (don't care if I missed something in those names) sold the background music on some platform where this Guez guy was able to buy it. Apparently this was made for Franka and when you purchase it for €80 (lol) you still have Franka tags on the file. The file is sold as "Blame Me Master.wav".

Can I just say I am living for this mess.
