He doesn't sound like a woman nor "like a young boy who has listened to his favourite warbling diva's a few too many times". He just sounds... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING . The chorus is a super modern, Lorde-like mix between Britney's I Love Rock 'n' Roll and Queens We Will Rock You . Or at least that's what came up my mind while listening to the song for the first time. To put in numbers: over ten listenings since the video's release, 12 points and my top 3 for sure

Not a bad attempt. Honestly I don't find it as Lorde-esque as much as "90's R&B" but I still enjoyed it: it's different, it's well-produced, if a little old-fashioned, but overall, it is an atenttion-grabber, and while I'm not sure this could be a favorite, I can see it as a dark horse: taking an unexpected high place no one saw coming.

The song itself is not my cup of tea, because I'm not fond of this particular style. But the song is indeed memorable and the guy is quite talented. This will be fresh air to the contest this year and it will stand out. I expected a more danceable song though...

BUT.... This really needs a good performance. I can see this doing very well, but this song with a bad live could be really painful to listen and flop so badly.
