Yeah, that's possible! I think if the RTBF participates it will be Roberto. And the winner of the second season will represent us in 2014

Would be lovely if the RTBF chooses him :)

No. I remember there was an article maybe 2 years ago about the Eurovision participation and the poor audience, where Philippot said that the RTBF would not quit the contest, even if it seems not very popular.

Hmm,, if RTBF actually would withdraw, would this mean VRT would enter an entry for 2013 instead or would Belgium simply withdraw until it would have been VRT's turn?

No idea ! I don't think they would withdraw though, otherwise the RTBF would have already announced it.
VRT took JESC over, if the RTBF would withdraw, it's possible.

BRF should take part as well .

Re: BELGIUM 2013

Everyone seems to be purposely forgetting the German part of Belgium :p

Do they have their own broadcaster to begin with? Elsewise it is RTBF's concern I think. I cannot envision they would reject someone because he is from the German-speaking community. As for the song, however, you most probably would not notice any difference.

Exactly, no matter who chooses it'll end up in English anyways

The only problem is quality and interest, where RTBF often lacks and VRT seem atleast a bit more interested (let's forget the '12 entry tho).

BRF isn't part of the RTBF ? I think so. Sometimes RTBF switches Euronews on the TNT (air television) to BRF for 20 minutes a day, i think.

I've asked that a couple of weeks ago to people in the VRT who are close to esc, and they say they really hope that RTBF won't withdraw because then it's not sure that VRT would take over - like they did with JESC..

BRF has a separate channel. RTBF makes BRF available in Wallonia. It's weird that even public television isn't available in every part of Belgium. FY Flanders.

Re: BELGIUM 2013

glad that Akamusic-chapter is done :p

I presume they will choose either the winner of "The Voice" first edition or someone really popular of the second season.
