But in this weak year, this will stand out for sure! I also hope that JJ or France maybe (?) can stop Mans from winning with his song, so I am rooting for JJ who has by far the best song from the countries that are up in the odds!

Oh yes, the techno beat doesn't fit ... I understand that they wanted some kind of highlight, but this beat isn't it. It completely disturbs.

I just listened to it again now with earphones on and I have to say that it actually slayed through the earphones.

Fuck me this is out of this world

Probably my fave Austrian entry

Haha I knew you’d love it

This and Belgium are an example of how influential having low odds can be.

I dont know if opera can win Eurovision, but I am sure this is at least a top 5 entry.
The bookmakers love it.
It is not something I would listen to at home but I think live with a cool staging that will be great.

Wow, definitely my favorite! Very curious what they have in mind in terms of staging. Given the operatics and the theme of unrequited love and emotional drowning, I can’t help thinking a Swan Lake vibe would fit perfectly. The chaos at the end would lend itself to a Black Swan-like meltdown too. That cinematic sound offers so much potential.

The Code was disjointed but I felt that worked to the song and Nemo’s benefit.

I’m not sure it quite works here and does feel like The Code 2: The Less Impressive Sequel to me.

I’ve still given it a 6️⃣ as in such a horribly, horribly weak year it is one of the better songs even if I don’t feel like it works as a coherent three minute song.

Does feel like it could be a jury winner if the vocals are on point and a fan favourite but may only come somewhere like 6th with the public in the final…

As much as I liked Nemo, Elina and Go_A (all received 12 from me), I'm not feeling this one xshrug

For me, it's a :6: or :7: not my cup if tea but it has intensity, it will depend on the overall package.

With a good staging and good live vocals, it sounds way more jury winner for me than Måns.

I don't know. Wasted Love gives me the feel of those entries that were the clear winners potentials more than everyone else in each year they were participating, like Arcade in 2019, Stefania in 2022 (for the reasons we know) and Sweden in 2023. I think it's clearly following those footsteps. I don't know what other countries can bring to at least equal or even top this ? It feels unbeatable for me because of the vocals. Austrian fans, you can be happy. Eurovision is coming to your country next year very very likely.

Whoa, two listens of 'Wasted Love' and my multiple personalities are screaming at each other. It's a chaotic mess up here - Some were impressed by the arrangement and multitude of textures it made me feel. The other party just pointed out how everything is amped up to 200%, you can't show this to anyone and expect them not coming at you with confused or sarcastic faces.

All in all, it's a niche song, probably only Eurofans would love. It's a very effective song to catch people's attention, though.

It might do well. I don't know how this will sound live. The last part elevates a lot but let see how he will sing it.
All depends on his vocal abilities.

After the issues of 2022 and 2024 this will be a year for :at: where we don’t need to be concerned about the vocal abilities.
