Marvin Dietmann is not doing Austria? that could be good news
agree! xlmao
i'm not sure if the decision has already been finalised, but no, if ORF approves the concept the stage director this year will be the one who did imo the best staging of last year

I would go for Sergio Jaen. He did Ireland last year. I liked the french staging too.
but if ORF from this year on is calling for concepts for the staging and chooses the best one thats a professional way of doing it

the team around teya had somebody in mind they approached, it is their favourite concept. if orf doesnt approve it we'll see what happens. but i'm positive it will work out

Perhaps the entertainment department wants to leave with a bang before extreme savings have to be made. I hear that there will be no inflation compensation at ORF. That would have amounted to 57 million euros per year.

Austria still rising in the odds. maybe tomorrow or the day after it will reach #4. there it will remain probably until the song reveal. and then we will see if the expectations were to high or not....

:at: on #4 now!! This is so crazy, the song isn’t even out yet
I am proud that I predicted it correctly xdance2 but #3 is unreachable in the moment. lets see what will happen after the presentation of the song. it possibly might go back the other direction.

:nl: on 6, why exactly? This won’t be anywhere near top 10.

All in all if our entry is at least half as strong as expected, top 10 is definitely possible, especially this year. Especially with countries like :it: who are usually top 10, opening the space this year for other countries due to their weak efforts…

Why people even look at odds now? It's still February ffs.

Has there been written any good classical music from the country of Mozart during the last 50 years? There are tons of good instrumentalists in Vienna and on the streets but not so many that compose. I did like the bondesque Rise like a Phoenix though although it should have been sung by a lady preferebly.

No rise like a phoenix is more bondesque as I wrote but its a shame there are no classical composers of today that are good but one could say those that write for the film like Hans Zimmer and the late Ennio Morricone are classical composers in some way and they are actually really good.

I‘m already excited for the song release now. 7th of March is my birthday so it will be an early present hopefully haha… with female acts they usually released the song on 8th, on international Women‘s day
