it more or less really was me haha, because the odds for :at: and :cz: were 21 at Bwin and now they are 15 for both hahaha

I feel like at this early stage, single bets really do influence those odds a lot.

I am just sure Austria won't win because this entry's assumptions are IDENTICAL to Nemo's and the same type of song never wins two years in a row.

But "wasted love" is not in the same genre/style as "the code". It is even more similar to "Tout L'univers" than "the code"

Oh, what a pity. It almost happened. An acquaintance from the Bundesheer sent me a photo of me in the shower. I didn't know I was being photographed. I was shocked at first, but on the other hand I looked fantastic back then. I was drafted very late, at 29. But it's probably not a good idea to brag with it in public, and I would have to clarify the background with the other guys. I hope he didn't do any malicious things with this photo. I checked with lens and couldn't find it on the internet, thanks to the universe. On the other hand, I couldn't care less.

yea, but that was her vision for the contest, thats the way she wanted to present herself, the video and everything... so at least i hope she feels confident about her choice.

Talking about our entries from 2022, 2023 and 2024, I would have gone for quite a different staging at all occasions.

In 2022 the main issue were the vocals but the staging was also very lacklustre and simply did not fit to the energy of the song. They definitely would have needed dancers, just like in the music video. The „halo“ on the stage killed the whole energy, it basically felt like a cage for them.

In 2023 the staging was okay in my opinion but still not the best option. I would have once again gone with more elements of the music video, like the dance moves… and closer camera shots. And maybe with the „fun vibe“ of the music video instead of this artificial slick vibe that the actual staging served.

In 2024 the choreography of the leaked live audition video was very cool in my opinion and matched better with the song than the choreo at Eurovision. But I doubt that the result in 2024 could have been a lot better with changes… I don’t know, maybe.

All in all I think that 2023 definitely had potential for a better result, the running order really screwed our chances and as I said, the staging was not ideal. 2nd place in the SF was very nice though.

interestingly: the choreo Kaleen performed at the casting was done by herself. and she hired someone for the esc performance. but thats the way she wanted it, i think (know) the people who chose her based on her casting performance were not really happy with the direction she went or even felt a bit mislead. but yea that was her artistic vision.

and for the years before: we've mentioned that before, Marvin Dietmann obviously did not have any good ideas. (and orf doesnt like spending money. i think a great idea doesnt necessarily require a huge amount of money so even with a small budget there could have been something way more creative) and T&S had problems with the clothes (that they chose themselves) which i've been told was one of the reasons the performance was more static than planned (still i think the staging went into the completely wrong direction from the beginning anyway)

i wonder what Dietmann doing this year, it doesnt't look like he's doing the staging for austria and cyprus has somebody else aswell. is he doing armenia? these are the countries he usually staged.
