how should he do that? he is a countertenor which is quite the opposite of il volo.Couldnt make it till the end of the song on first listen but since so many people were praising it that much i gave it another chance and it felt like 1 hour non-ending torture. İf u do pop opera do it İl volo way please
I remember reading from people that had been at the jury show that one of the members of Il Volo had a bit of a shocker in terms of vocals during that show, so that would explain them being downgraded a little.Honestly I think some people who say Austria will win the jury have been blinded by the past two years and think jury landslides are inevitable and this is the song they landed on because it has good vocals.
Jury doesn't necessarily vote based on voice quality/song quality. Look at ESC 2015 for example: Il Volo's "Grande Amore" was by far the highest quality song in terms of voice performance yet it "Grande Amore" finished 6th based on jury votes.
Their vocals weren't stellar by any means, average to shaky at parts.Honestly I think some people who say Austria will win the jury have been blinded by the past two years and think jury landslides are inevitable and this is the song they landed on because it has good vocals.

I think the main reason was that their song was very cheesy.Their vocals weren't stellar by any means, average to shaky at parts.
France 2024 lost his voice the day before the jury show and had an obvious voice crack, but he still finished 2nd. Juries still vote for more than vocals, otherwise Blanca Paloma would have won in 2023.I remember reading from people that had been at the jury show that one of the members of Il Volo had a bit of a shocker in terms of vocals during that show, so that would explain them being downgraded a little.
So what will be this years no 1 jury song in your opinion? Like there’s almost no competition. I’d be extremely surprised ifHonestly I think some people who say Austria will win the jury have been blinded by the past two years and think jury landslides are inevitable and this is the song they landed on because it has good vocals.

Most people seem to think that JJ’s voice is just regular operatic singing. That might be true for a woman, but for a man, it’s extremely rare. On top of that, JJ sings even higher than a typical countertenor. He’s a male soprano, hitting the same high notes as Maria Callas. I can’t think of any other male sopranos out there. 200 years ago, there were some countertenors, but they were artificially created—by cutting off their balls when they were kids.So what will be this years no 1 jury song in your opinion? And I don’t get the Il volo comparison at all. Are people these days only able to think in very simple frames and boxes?! Like Grande Amore literally is a totally different product, uff.
he will be at the preparties. and there will be an (imo amazing) video coming out as part of that "eurovision a little bit more" seriesDo we know when JJ's first live performance will take place?
But there are female singers who could owerpower men like Birgit Nilsson and Renata Tebaldi. Among men Corelli was known to owerpower the sound of the orchestra itself. And if the question comes up about why people wanted men to sing like women—there’s a practical reason. Without trying to sound sexist, men can sing with much more power than women. Remember, at the opera there are no microphones.
Still rising in the odds. 18 %.
