Actually I am calling out on Sweden, which is becoming a hate country for me. They always bring the same tunes and the same acts in this bloated song festival. I think Melodifestivalen as it is, is the reason why Sweden sounds the same every year. There is no room for diversity, new music and overcoming patterns. This year is particularly horrid because of the male acts with an all girl and all gay fanbase they can rely on even with super dull songs. I hope it's jojk tomorrow, that would be the only bold but also fantastic choice they can make.

Oh, ok. Not that this is the place to talk about Sweden but that country has really let me down this year. All the entries that I enjoyed were instantly knocked out due (no doubt about it) to the app vote. I'm not seeing what other people are seeing in Jon Henrik's song to be honest. It's interesting visually but it sounds a very watered down form of whatever it's trying to be. It's even got a key change. It's different but not that different. It still sounds cheap and formulaic to my ears. I don't really care who wins in Sweden tomorrow though. They can do what they want. The Norwegians on the other hand can't do what they want, and I shall be invading the country tomorrow by swan boat if they don't pick Karin Park.



As for Austria. I'm fine with The MakeMakes. I hope they get the country a decent result.

Yeeeeesssssss! Finally a song again in like a million years that I actually like a lot. I am so freaking relieved. Thank heavens. This year's contest already seemed kind of hopeless in my eyes for these two weeks as I didn't like any of the songs pretty much and nothing was exciting and I almost didn't want anything to do with Eurovision anymore. Any other year I probably wouldn't adore this near as much compared to other songs, but well it's different this year fortunately or unfortunately. So yay.
