I heard the song just now on our local radio. It's the first time I heard one of this year's songs on radio here, other than Estonia's song of course which followed right after.:D

This was one of my highlights of the weekend: Sitting in a McDonalds about 3 o´clock at night after going to the disco and very, very unexpected (especially in Germany) listening to "Tonight Again" @ the TV-programme they had there. Was really excited to listen to an Eurovision entry before the Grand Final there :-)

Thanks so much CPV4931 - it is great to hear that Australian music is being played in Germany - especially for Eurovision
It is getting very exciting for us Aussies - we have a Eurovision party happening here at 5am our time to watch the finals - cannot wait to see the splendor of it all xlove

I heard this song on the Spanish radio some days ago, but for some TV promos one TV channel has also used Sweden, Albania and Slovenia.

As a fellow Australian, I thought we actually played it safe. Not that I don't like Guy but maybe their was some other performer that could come from our country.

What another Australian artist would you suggest Hawke?

As far as playing it safe, Guy wrote, mixed and mastered a new song #TonightAgain all in 72 hours - I would say that writing a song for Eurovision representing Australia - in that time frame is a very risky proposition and definitely not safe.

As far as Guy is concerned, this would not have been a safe decision for him to do this as far as his career goes - he has had to put up with a back lash from other European countries not wanting us there and even Australians not wanting us there.

Our spokesperson will be announced in about 20 minutes. http://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/video/445814339978/Australias-Eurovision-spokesperson-who-will-it-be

Also, I found a quote on the SBS website (our broadcaster) stating,
"Upbeat and almost annoyingly catchy 'Tonight Again' stands out as a genuine contender when compared to the considerable volume of ballads that will feature across Eurovision week. Guy's most likely competition in winning will come via Sweden, with the dance thumper 'Heroes', Slovenia, with the addictive indie-pop ditty 'Here for You', and Italy's Popera perfect boy-trio, Il Volo.

We're almost as cocky as Eric Saade.
