The spokeperson is Lee Lin Chin. She is currently a newsreader on SBS World News

Our spokesperson will be announced in about 20 minutes. http://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/video/445814339978/Australias-Eurovision-spokesperson-who-will-it-be

Also, I found a quote on the SBS website (our broadcaster) stating,
"Upbeat and almost annoyingly catchy 'Tonight Again' stands out as a genuine contender when compared to the considerable volume of ballads that will feature across Eurovision week. Guy's most likely competition in winning will come via Sweden, with the dance thumper 'Heroes', Slovenia, with the addictive indie-pop ditty 'Here for You', and Italy's Popera perfect boy-trio, Il Volo.

We're almost as cocky as Eric Saade.
No, it´s called "self-confident" but I must say, if you want to win, Guy really need to change clothes ;)

I thought for sure that they'd go with Jessica Mauboy as our spokesperson, as a safe but boring choice. Thrilled to see they've chosen Lee Lin Chin instead! This is probably the best piece of news in the Aus thread so far. Whether or not we win ESC, we should at least have 'best spokesperson' in the bag

Oh, and here's her quote from the official SBS announcement:

"Since I’m announcing my candidacy for the 2016 Gold Logie, I’m very excited. 195 million people watch Eurovision every year and if even just 10 million of those buy TV Week I’ll have it in the bag. As SBS’s most recognisable personality I couldn’t say no to such an opportunity. I’m the obvious choice - not only have I been to Europe but I also listen to music from time to time."

Can't believe this song is that high at the bookmakers. No doubts about his voice, but the song itself is too poor for a top5 imho

It's cause the standard is so terrible this year. Don't mind Guy personally, but this entry is overrated af.

You can't be tired of it already

We still have semi 2 jury rehearsal, semi 2 live, final jury rehearsal and the final too where we will also get the inevitable green room interview with Guy and Conchita

Their only getting warmed up ;)

Solid rehearsal, I like it.

It's still weird to have Australia in ESC

Mediocre American style soul song. I hope it will not win. Overrated and tiresome. He has a good voice though.

I'd say it's one of the best song this year. Vocally, Guy is outstanding, the song is fun, has a good groove and conveys (for me) the most professional and international overall impression. I'd love Slovenia to win, but I also would love Australia to win, if not only for having them a second time in Eurovision. :)

That is harsh. :?

Guy and Måns seen to be friends even though they are competing against each other.

From Guy's facebook page: Gym session with @manszelmerlow such a nice guy!

Don't see the appeal and don't see it winning. If however they manage to win I'm pretty sure next year we're going to London.

That being sad I'm very happy Australia is competing this year! It makes the contest even more interesting :)

2nd Rehearsal went off well considering Guy has a heavy cold and is saving his voice for the Big Night, however once his fine vocal instrument is back to normal, you will see a very powerful vocal performance.
