Boring song revamped into a boring song in English. I'm keeping my 3

Hmm...hard to judge this remake. It is absolutely not a "Fairytale"-disaster...but it ain't a good remake like "Carry Me In Your Dreams"...
It sounds very Albanian, strong rockish melody, high notes, almost screaming, but still with a good singer which makes it listenable and the feeling of desperation, which Albania is experts in making in my opinion. It's not bad, I would not rule out Albania yet from this year, even if the first semi is a really strong semi in my opinion.

The revamp is overproduced in the modern Western chart manner, makes it duller and more anaemic and mechanical. I don't need the chorus hammered at me, I can take it more subtle and human.

Awkward English lyrics ruined the song.

The song remains at the same place to me, even though I think the albanian version was slightly better. Oh, and I like her black-and-white outfit in the video

Still a boring screamfest. Not even a complete overhaul can save this mess.

IMO this was a good revamp and the english lyrics don't bother me as I thought they would.

I still like the song and I love Lindita but let's be realistic: this is almost a sure nonqualifier in that killer semifinal xcry

I was expecting the worst here, but this is a decent revamp! I preferred the Albanian lyrics in a number of ways (they fit the lines better, Lindita seemed more confident with them, and I just like to have more non-English songs), and the ramped-up drum beat in the new version feels a little cheap at points, but past that I'm enjoying the new version. It's got a good sense of drama, develops well, the instrumentation doesn't get muddled at points like Bote did, and the climax roars in with a lot of power. Upgrading my score from 6 to 8, though that's less because of the revamp and more because the song's just grown on me; both versions seem about equal in overall quality. Still, considering Albania's recent track record with revamps, I'm happy enough with how this has gone - the song remains on the border of my top 10!

I don't understand a single word. I think the original version was more authentic. I understand they want to translate it to English, but I wouldn't have touched anything else. I'll keep my 7 points though since this is still one of the best Albanian entries ever. Even if I know qualification is quite complicated, this is too dark and certainly not for everyone.

Man, going back and listening to the revamp again, it's like I'm listening to a different song. It's like the gap between the first and second times I heard ILWAC. I'm loving it now. so much power and intensity, in a year of the insipid ballads, this stands out even more now.

It's funny that looking at my top 10, this and Portugal are my only ballads. Funny, since those who know me know my top 10 is usally filled with ballads. The problem is that there are so many ballads this year, and yet very few even competent ones among them.

It'll hard for Lindita to qualify in the semi of death, but I think she has given herself the best chance.

What a fantastic revamp, nicely done Albanian. I wasn't a fan of the original version but the orchestration here is amazeballs. Now her English, it may be just me but I have a hard time understanding what she's saying. Maybe singing in Albanian would have been a better option but nevertheless the new arrangement is great so thumbs up from me.

It makes no sense why her singing English is...not bad, but accented in places, because her English speaking is totally flawless.

I think maybe the reason why I can't understand her english, is partly, because I've fallen in love with the Albanian edition of this song. I've literally listened to it so much that i've had the Albanian lyrics imprinted in my brain. So now when I listen to the revamped version, all I hear is Albanian! xboring

The beginning of this song is so dull, but the scream in the end is enough for me to place it in my top 10, gives me goosebumps. xlove
Hope that part will work well live.
Btw I was so afraid they might ruin the song with the revamp, especially after the incident last year. (no idea how come nobody warned them about what they were doing lol )

This is quite good, one of the best Albanian entries in Eurovision (for me, I only prefer 2006 and 2009). However, I'm not sure it's quite 'stand out' enough to qualify from the semis, esp with it being in the first half...

I give :al: :5: points!
