The revamp elevated this one a lot for me actually. Deliciously dramatic and stirring. And she slays of course. I think it shouldn't be written off just yet.

Personally. I think the song is alright but it is pretty much the same as almost every other Albanian entry. It doesn't stand out. It doesn't have a really good draw either and I think its chances for the final are slim.

2 points.

Please be the dark horse of this semi and slay your way into the finalxpray The song is sublime and there's no better diva vocalist this year. Lindita is just outstanding. Come on! This deserves the final. Best of luck Albaniaxcrossed

Should've have qualified, better than others like the Polish one or the Australian one. Quite some power in the performance by the end as well. I'd say this was the biggest injustice.

Damn. I kinda expected it, the song doesn't stand out enough and Albania's practically been sending the same dramatic, yelping, heavily orchestrated song for 4 years now, even if this was possibly the best. It's time to try something else next year!

A huge injustice that this didn't make it, and we have to watch the usual suspects with poor songs slip through *cough* Greece and a sea of mediocre. The results were abysmal. Portugal, Finland and Albania should have been shoe-ins for the final in what was an incredibly weak (though country-wise competitive) semi.

I do think the staging let her down though. To me this didn't feel like Lindita's style. The wedding dress idea was strange, and I think might have detracted from the performance for first time listeners, and put them off. Her black look from the music video would have been great. The performance though was absolutely sensational. She knocked it out the park and delivered, slaying it hard. It's sad to look at the songs that passed over this one. It sucks as I was team Lindita since "S'të fal". This is not the ending I wanted for such an impressive vocalist, with a kick ass song in that classic Albanian ballad style I love.

I think Rainy's said just about everything I was going to, but yeah, this not qualifying is a big injustice (albeit an expected one). Yes, it's very much the same thing that Albania always gives us, but it was one of the better iterations of their usual style, had lots of drama and power, and Lindita's vocals were great. Damn that high note was good.

Wishing this had made it in over Poland, Greece, Belgium, Cyprus, my own country Australia... but oh well. Best of luck next year, Albania, and thanks for the great performance, Lindita!

The draw did not help (wait, I can see Sweden laughing at me), this was one of the decent songs of the night. Still, it felt like something was missing from the performance. I can't exactly pinpoint what, need to watch it more times.

(Unrelated to merit or anything of the kind, but just need to say that from a straight guy's watching Eurovision point of view that her diastema kinda bothered me  If only whatever was missing on the song could distract me like that as well :p)

Yeah, I really liked the song but... then it turned to english.
Not being dressed as a clown it would help as well...

Bit of a shame.

Sorry to say, but I found the vocals very shaky, which is the last thing I would expect from Lindita! Also, her makeup, styling just didn't work. :(

Absolutely agree, she had a terrible makeup and her dress was not so good, but the overall impression is really bad.

Barbara Dex 2017. Also: that song is probably the worst one I've ever heard

I would suggest 2 things:

first: whoever was responsible for that make-up - fire him/her and keep him/her away from women's faces as far as possible. What did they do to that beautiful woman from Festival i Kenges??????? xslap (and while being there - fire the dress stylist also)

second: maybe Albania could try - just TRY - to take into account, that there are other possibilities for an entry than a woman who tries to brake the record of the highest, longest and loudest note ever sung. Suus was your biggest success, but the world of music offers so much more!

Having said this - I feel sorry for Lindita. She did the best she could and seeing songs to be in the final that were vocally much worse, must be a harsh disappointment. But honestly - I wouldn't have placed her in the final either (mainly because of the song itself also)

The song sure was the best of the evening, but she didn't really sing as amazingly as I'd expected.. The draw was against her as well, so I'm certainly not surprised to see her out of the competition :s Still it's a bit sad, when rubbish acts like Sweden and Australia could qualify (though it obviously wasn't much of a surprise either) :s

I think this was pretty much the maximum for this entry. The performance was solid enough but the song itself is too weak and forgettable. Expected elimination.

The only wrong decision in the Semis this year. Switching :au: for :al: would have been perfect.
