Due to having next to no free time tomorrow (thanks work ) I regretfully won't be able to work on the results tomorrow at all, so I'm extending the deadline by one day to Tuesday 27th July at 23:59CEST

Foti @CypriotGirl - I'd rather not DQ any nations from this spinoff, but I'm getting very close to the stage where I'll need to start prepping the results in all its phases, so if you can let me know asap whether you can vote tomorrow that would be awesome

These will be such interesting results; like three different things to look forward to
I hope we'll all be able to write some comments about our thought processes and things for this spinoff after it's all over, especially as we've had to be so secretive until now!

I'm sorry for all this mess. Too many deadlines the past couple of days, and I missed the mention for the voting of the spin-off. I thought I didn't miss any deadline but I was wrong. Finally voted.

COPYCAT RESULTS EXTRAVAGANZA:
Friday 30th July from 19:00CEST

1. First, we'll find out how our copycat nations voted in typical ESC format.
2. Then, it's the big reveal as all of our copycats are unmasked!
3. We'll then reveal all of our competitors real rankings with those all important bonus points gifted to the copycat nations and added televote-style to the final scoreboard (if the copycat's matches the actual from the nation's personal ranking, that's tasty bonus points )
4. Then we'll know the ultimate copycat!

Bonus scoreboard for actual nation voting and the awards for the Top 5 copycats as voted for by you will take place in the after-party

Sorry I can't hold the results any earlier - blame my work for calling me in from flexi-furlough tomorrow ​

I think everyone did a brilliant job and it's been a super-fun spinoff to host, so thanks for embracing the idea!

Well, whoever had , picking the artist who ended up being the 194 entrant for our bff neigh wasn’t a bad idea at all
And as always with these spin-offs, I’m grateful that you didn’t just pick something Japanese and call it a day. So I think you did a good job, it definitely had the quirkiness we like to aim for!

Absolutely clueless as to who it could be though! My only lead could be Öösingimäed cos @iowacorn liked a random post I made, but that’s kinda clutching at straws
And overall winner, errr, is that including all the votes, both personal and predicted?

To my Öösingimäed copycat, WELL DONE!!! I had no idea that that was my taste, but you hit the nail on the head. Been jamming to 'Live to Survive' since the songs were released. So bravo bravo bravo bravo!! It's really cool to see how people see your taste in music so different from how you see your own. I thought someone would send a Russian pop song.

WELCOME TO THE RESULTS SHOW!

We'll start very soon with PHASE 1 of the results this evening - the all-important Copycat voting

Challenge your brain not tp cheer on your own nation's name throughout - I dare ya!

After the 18 scoreboards, we'll unmask all the copycats before comparing their votes with the actual votes from the real-life NSC nations to award their similarity bonus points (more on that later). Think of it like the ESC televote only with less-weighting and not quite as predictable as the time goes one (I hope!)
