So that's why Turkey gave you points in 2004... and I thought that they started liking you
Anyway, Cyprus is an awesome ESC country, I liked most of their previous entries and the 2004 entry was my favorite entry of all. Cyprus deserves a win, it is one of the most underrated countries in ESC

Cyprus had Turkish Cypriots in national final, not Eurovision final. When Eleftheria was in Turkey, she was asked this question and she said "We all Cypriots, why not?" but we all know there's no way that Cyprus will choose a Turkish Cypriot representative. They can be candidate but never be chosen.
So that's why Turkey gave you points in 2004... and I thought that they started liking you

I don't want to have a political conversation right now. I am not a nationalist. I voted for Albania and Turkey in the finals. Both of them are considered "enemies" by many in Greece and that's sad. But, TR Nothern Cyprus is a state that is recognised only by Turkey and there are some good reasons for that.
Reunification is needed but not a Belgium-like one. (personal opinion)
PS Eγώ θέλω την Ήβη, κάθε χρόνο.. Αν δεν θέλει η Κύπρος, ας την στείλει η Ελλάδα ή η Βουλγαρία... Ivi again!

That would be good, but Eleftheria please, not with a slutty pop song like this year! She can do so nice with an ethnic ballad in Greek, there's no need to show her body or anything.

Very difficult to see Michalis again in ESC! I hope so, because he's probably the best we could send, but he now forgets that his career in Greece started with Eurovision, and he makes some comments not so favorable for Eurovision. But never say never!

By the way, Nikki Ponte said in an interview at a Greek tv channel few days ago: "I really want to try again for Eurovision".
She doesn't clarify, but I think Greece has more possibilities to send her than Cyprus!

I haven't heard anything either. I don't think we'll withdraw, ESC did so high viewing numbers in Cyprus, above 90%, CyBC never achieves this throughout the year!

I'd really love to see Cyprus sending a song like that, in Cypriot language, with Cypriot traditional elements, no matter what the result would be! The singer of that song is Irini Antoniou, she's got a lovely voice, and she would be a great choice!
