Oh, I almost forgot, Everything Everything said happy birthday to me on twitter on my 18th birthday (which was almost 2 years ago ), so yes, awesome artist choice.

Re: Zoidiac - 50 YEARS

Once again thanks to everyone who voted for Czeslaw for Congrats! It's awesome, and the timing quite frankly couldn't have been better :D
As I've probably already mentioned far many times by now, Zoidiac is having its 50th anniversary this edition, and that's not gonna pass unnoticed. History-recaps are in the making and I guess it'd also be the perfect occasion to look into some voting-stats and stuff.

Unlike what most would probably expect from an anniversary-edition like this, my 50th entry holds no sentimental or nostalgic value whatsoever for me and I just found it last night quite randomly. I was hooked from the beginning till end. If you've ever thought of what it sounds like if you mix Hungarian folk music and like 200BPM electro/nintendocore-music, you should definitely be intrigued by now.

Re: Zoidiac - 50 YEARS

So, the other night I went to search for some music, and I stumbled upon this...I was mindblown and stopped searching right away.
The entry itself features Chip Chip Chokas (right picture), a Hungarian one-man 8-bit electro artist, and Bohemian Betyars (left picture), a Hungarian gipsy/folk-band. Now, against all odds, these two very different music-projects decided to geniously collaborate and the result is beyond amazing! :D

from the main forum it looks as ": Zoidiac - 50 YEARS - Bohemian.."

I know I say this every time you bring out a recap, but how have none of these songs won?

Cant decide whether Up in the Sky or Bernadette is my favourite of your entries....

I will agree with Favid... The fact that you haven't won yet, looking at the songs you have sent, is mind-boggling!

Re: Zoidiac - NF (deadline: 8/2 23:59 CET)

Thanks to Zechonia, Reym-L-Dneurb, Doire, and 10 Regions of Mobius for having voted so far. Will start voting in NF's tomorrow myself.

For your information votes will only be counted once. Nice try though, Ans.

Re: Zoidiac - NF (deadline: 8/2 23:59 CET)

Won't be able to make a recap this time, so in order to make the voting easier I've decided to eliminate the bottom-6 and let the top-4 progress to a final heat (initially wanted to let the top-3 go through, but since both 1st-2nd- and 3rd-4th-placed are tied I didn't have much of an option). Let's say goodbye to the following...

24 Sin Cos Tan
20 DakhaBrakha
19 Computers Want Me Dead
16 Klangkarussell
11 Kuningas Pähkinä & Setä Tamu
8 Shamil Oskar

Countries that have already voted don't have to do it again. Thank you once again to Zechonia, Reym-L-Dneurb, Doire, and 10 Regions of Mobius for voting in the preliminary heat! :D

Votes from potentially new voters will be added to the already existing scores in the preliminary heat. Here are the remaining songs still fighting for a ticket to Doire:

a flood of circle - Human License

Röyksopp & Susanne Sundfør - Running To The Sea

Astro - Panda

Major Parkinson - Heart of Hickory
