Switzerland. See, I hate Finland as much as everybody else, but at least it's different and kind of original; Moldova came close, but to me it's so bad it's good, so there's some value on it. But Switzerland is the most cliché-filled, white-bread, bland song of this year. The music is average, the lyrics, I swear to God, there were the most obvious "don't give up" style of phrases they could think that I actually could predict what was coming in the next verse.

To me, being just boring is way worse than being terrible: at least you remember terrible.

Switzerland and Malta aren't far from my bottom 5 either. One of them is a wordy ramble from someone who thinks exclusively in cliched lyrics, and the other is a few ESC tropes that barely stretch to three minutes of material, but they're two sides of the same coin. Both have beautifully arranged instrumental backgrounds and try hard to sound like they're doing something profound, but underneath, there's barely a song there.
