In this case we're dealing with nothing but ignorance of the people who applied but did not send an entry.

Oh come one, now you are going to tell me that the people who suggested the years will be so sad and won't enjoy this spinoff so much >,>
I mean, I don't know, it might work that way for some people... For me, I suggested a year only because that was a necessary requirement for me to enter this spinoff, not because I am oh-so-over-the-moon excited about what the person who got that year i suggested will send... I think that, considering there are so many different years and a wide interval of time that the entries are from, everyone will find something to like and enjoy, completely unrelated to whether they hear the entry from the year they suggested... It's all about the fun and I can't see why anyone would be upset about this... As I said, this is just my point of view...
