Oh man I totally missed these results. I didn't know, my house was on the edge. Pretty happy with the results. I mean the winner isn't one I would put near the top of the bunch, but it's decent enough and a lot of the songs I felt were strong show up high on the list. Japan was obviously robbed, but I mean yeah Merzbow...

Anyway, this was the first time I've sent any of my own songs to a song contest if you give Mira and ferret etc amnesia. I am actually happy that people did not play nice with it a whole lot. I mean I end up pretty much where I think I should have ended up. It's definitely creative, but production is shoddy and it's obviously not very compelling melodically, so there's only a couple of people who should love it and then some people who might vote for it because it's extra cool that it's my own work. Thanks for voting for me.

To ferret of course many thanks to the whole hosting. I realize it must be odd to host in these circumstances but you pulled it off with some nice graphics and some fluffy Ukrainian idioms. It was good stuff. I wish I was here yesterday so I could honour your hosting more by actually attending the results, but alas. Feel a bit of shame for that, but I'm sure in the end you don't mind.
