Nope, that is not the case We don't have two people singing the same entry, and I doubt that will change in the next 24 hours.

We don't even have many popular ESC songs at all. Only 1 is really, really popular. The others.......not so much. I mean they are popular here, but I wouldn't say that any of them has a "cult" status

I would have done an alternative cover of "Suus" if I had my keyboard with me at the moment, but i've only got one Eurovision song i've recorded music for on my laptop, so i've had to use that piece of music. I'm glad about the extended deadline as i've had the time to fine tune my recording today and add some dreamy layers of sound to create an unusual ambiance, especially toward the end (thank you to the ice cream van that passes my house for the sampling opportunities). I'm still nervous about sharing my cover though It's quite an unusual take on the song.

My cover is incoming. How will the voting work? Is it a typical 12, 10, 8 etc.. thing? I hope there are a healthy number of us if so because if I was giving points, I wouldn't like to put anyone at the bottom.


edit: Soundcloud is messing up the quality of my recording. I don't know what i'm doing wrong but it's really bothersome how I can't get an upload quality as crisp and clean as the wav file I have here. There's a tinny quality to the audio and vocals and it's driving me insanexsos I'll send it in though.

edit 2: Oh my gosh, I sent it. Further panicking Too late to turn back now unless it's declined which i'm actually slightly worried it might be as I take a lot of liberties with the song and arrangement.

I have prepared everything but the show itself will probably be tomorrow.


I am waiting for one participant to re-record his entry and upload it online. After that we can finally start.

I finally uploaded my cover. Unfortunately, there's no high quality version. I could record it several times in better quality yesterday, but my voice wasn't okay and I couldn't reach the highest notes with a minimal level of dignity, so I decided to sacrify quality for voice.
