I definetly decided what I am going to perform, so I will keep my original promise and I will perform in a language that I don't speak I managed to produce a version with improved sound in the meantime, but regardless of that.........even if I hadn't the choice would still be the same.


After listening to several songs that I had in plan yet again, there was no dilemma for me about which one should go.


But of course, I need to thank some people that helped me choose, I believe, the right one.


First of all @Hele. Thanks for clearly stating that this choice was your favorite from the beginning with all the right arguments for it, darling Now your wish will come true!


Then @Kaja who motivated me to record the best possible version of this song (at this moment). I am glad that you are satisfied with how the end product sounds and with how I managed to pronounce the words in a language that I don't speak and where I only understand some things


And also @as78 who also easily helped me decide and choose the song that I have chosen in the end






This was a really huge challange, especially considering how much the song is hard to perform live and that even its original singer didn't perform it flawlessly on the ESC night. But I really hope that I managed to hit the right combination of vocal performance and emotional harmony that the song possesses and that you will like it

@Carrie : Well, so far only escfan87, JamieBrown and myself have our entries


There are more people who promised they will participate. And I may even extend the deadline 'till Friday evening. This will not be canceled nor abandoned, and the show will take place, there is no doubt about that.

Since I haven't missed the deadline yet, I may as well join. But I'm kinda sick and have no idea what to choose, so we'll have to see about it.

I wonder if anyone chose the same song as another person, it happened 3 times in this year's NSC event (two people doing Estonia, two people doing Hungary, and two people including myself doing Switzerland)

Probably a bit less likely in this edition, since we can choose any Eurovision song from the past 60 years.

I secretly want to enter but i'm nervous to and have a few problems.

- I hate being judged, and vice versa I wouldn't like judging other people.

- Music is my passion and i'll be taking myself waaaay over seriously when this is just meant to be a bit of fun.


I know Anna's got an absolutely beautiful voice though Hmmmm maybe I will put forward something. I can't access my keyboard/synthesizer at the moment, but I have a Eurovision song I recorded myself playing on piano a couple of years back, which I can record myself singing to now. It's got a completely different structure though to the original. It's just over two minutes in length? Can I add my own backing and other layers of weirdness to it as well?

And knock yourself out with the recording. As long as it's still recognizable as the original song (the same melody), it doesn't matter what arrangement you choose.

And the show will hopefully be on the same day, just after the deadline expires

Well, obviously if I picked this song is because it goes well with my voice, it's not so difficult vocally and Serbian doesn't seem so difficult for me as other languages. Still I'm not a singer

And maybe because it has a lot of instrumental part

I wanted to, but I just couldn't find a private time to record my voice, my mum is around all the time

I even have chosen the song that fits my voice (), but unfortunately couldn't find a decent instrumental for it.
Now I am torn between a rock song and a ballad song, both from non-100% european countries.
